FYI...that PMX tower that's in the background, it's no longer there either. They just took that whole factory out recently.

Wow, "Zayre" and "Gold Circle." I though those places only existed in my imagination! I remember going to those stores with my grandparents when I was a kid. (chuckle)
You're right about those old blowers, though. Wouldn't everything within 20 feet of them be fluttering in the breeze, too?

That tower in the background used to be Chase Brass. My grandfather retired from there. He's 90, but he might remember what this building used to be.

If Im not mistaken it was a drug store at one time. Revco and Gray Drug come to mind.

Before becoming a Super Buffet, it was a HomeTown buffet.

If it was anything before this, I'm not sure yet... but I'll find out.

Does anyone know what this was prior to becoming a Super Buffet? I moved away from the Cleveland area in 1989 and I am pretty sure this restaurant was something else prior to that.

Love the big ceiling air conditioner. Haven't seen one of those in years. Everytime I went to Zayre or Gold Circle as a kid you could hear these things a mile away. And they gave off a funny small. Or so it seemed.
