I grew up in Euclid in the late 70's up to the late 80's. The area was always rather poor. I lived on Babbitt Road and had many fond memories of going down to the Euclid Square mall. When this Toys R Us opened I was still quite young and was so excited. It is such a shame that Euclid hit even harder times in the 90's.
This poor store always had a strange location. It was hard to get to and off the beaten path. You had to know it was there and make it a designated stop. Not many free-standing toy stores left at all any more.
