I have grafted on the suspension from the 1/8 Jag and i have also used the wheels.

All these parts were from the parts box. I think the body and nose were from the old AMT kit. The motor is from the Pie Wagon. I had a smashed one in the parts bin.

I saw the real car and created this one to scale.

I found a resin sedan body and used that with a broken 37 Ford I had sitting around. Pegasus wheels. This car won a memorial award for best in show that had the honored gentelmans style at the Cactus Classic in So Cal.

Can you believe a kit that was not a restored glue bomb? Wheels are from the Boyds Smoothster kit. Lowered the suspension to get the ride height right.

Basically a restoration without much done to it. I do remember it was a Pactra RC car paint.

Most guys lengthen the rear fenders but I chose to go just the opposite and move them forward. I also had to shorten the wheelbase. I think it looks too boxy around the wheel covers but I have not come up with a fix yet.

I believe this is a Freeman body.

Used the kit parts. Frenched the headlights. Lowered it and added some wire wheels. I used a yellow perminate marker to create the gold chrome to match the wheels.

I had to have a car ready for the club meeting the next day. I used auto urethane because it sets up quick. I won the contest the next day.

I picked up the body at the Western Classic. I found that the AMT 57 Chevy with the brown car on the box had a chassis that fit pretty close. I made need to move the suspension just a bit but it is going to be a curbside so no problem. The interior resin tub was over a quarter inch too narrow but the 57 tub fits just fine so I will adapt the dash to that tub.

Candy Green over gold. I used yellow perm markers to create the gold plating.

Monogram 59 Caddy. Box stock except for the lowering of the suspension and the addition of the wire wheels. This kit has a lot of detail and looks great with a bit of painting to the bits and pieces. I added a pear to the clear over the red paint.

I found a heavily crazed and broken Vette body with the custom parts. I cut them off and grafted them to a donor kit. Gunze paint was used.

This was a poorly started kit that had the custom pieces glued on. I completed it the best I could and slapped some paint on it.

I picked up a resin track nose and found the rest of the parts in the parts bin. It is a curbside. Once I got the stance right just slapped on black paint. I did not go for high gloss as the rods back then did not have the high tech gloss for the most part.

Basic box build.

This is a custom project that I have had sitting around a while. I screwed up and accidently painted the Quicksilver wagon body the orange and the Bootleger body silver so now I have hybrids. This is the duplicolor sparkle paint Orange. I added some meat to the motor to fill the engine bay.

Chopped AMT 40 Ford with the standard grill. Chopped and changed to 2 window. Hemi motor with 4 Webbers. Trans Am rear suspension. Custom interior. Was in several magazines. Paint is HOK Brandywine. This is one of my favorite cars.

Revell 32 Ford with tubbed chassis. I think I used the Chevell for the tubs. Eurethane automotive paint with had painted flames. This is a replica of an actual car.

These kits are great paper weights and look cool too.

No kits were harmed in the making of this Rat Rod. All parts were pulled from the parts box.

This is that old odd scale Monogram kit. It was a gift to me and was a great old built up until it got knocked off the shelf. I had to pin and glue everything back together and it looks ok once again. Stuff happens.
