I got this car and the front of the roof was crushed down. I literally massaged it for about a week while watching TV and worked it back into place. I am going to make a street bad boy.

Started this in the mid 90's. The fit was so poor that I did not have the skills back then to complete so I stuck it away. Hopefully I can GET ER Done.

This has taken parts of 3 kits so far

I bought the old box with the cool box art and it had two kits inside, one started. I am going to do a chop and one like the box art.

Saw a car about a year ago and used it for inspiration for this car. Black Force upper section mated to 41 Lincoln convert. Filled in gaps with plastic sheet then added blue yellow putty to create complex curves at back and for head lights.

I wanted to try to section a body so I started with an AMT kit. I will be useing a lot of parts box stuff for grills and bumpers.

Club challenge via the generosity of Hizoot. Missing skirts and one spinner otherwise looks like a good start.

This is not a good kit. The hood fit is extreamly poor forcing me to do a lot of corrective surgery. Many other things fit bad too. I am thinking Trans Am for this one.

I started one of these in my younger days but money kept me from finishing. I had 8 914's back in the day. I really had fun in them.

Had some extra bodies sitting around so here we go.

I am going to use a blue and black base to see the difference. I lay down the color coat then put some testors clear over it to add to the smoothness. The smoother the better the chrome looks. I also tested a medium blue, lite blue, ice blue and silver metallic. I did not cover them all with clear. Out of all the colors the silver metallic had the most brilliance. The parts not clear coated before did not look very good at all. It appears that a smooth glossy finish is more important than color. If you need depth in the part I would go with the medium to dark blue as it creates deeper shadows.

I don't like the car so I had to come up with a new idea. I was watching a show about Bonneville and the car just jumped into my mind.

Bought a body and frame at a car show. All of the rest of the parts are coming from my parts boxs. I am printing the decals on my Alps printer. I need good color shots of the car to get the colors right.

This is the origional body that I had no FC parts for so I made it into a 68 pro street. I have enough parts now to go back to the FC version.

This is a restoration. I had to get two glue bombs off the ebay to make one car. The first one I got the body was WAY warped. I am lowering the suspension to get a better ride height and I narrowed the rear trac.

I am going to make a decent representation of the Landy 70's Dart as the Duster kits are really
Darts. I will compile from several decal sheet to get what I need. I won't even attempt to create what the chassis' are really like so I will just tub the frame and drop the stance.

Restoring both of these. The Dutchman was a real glue bomb and it taking a bunch of work. The Charger has a lot of fit issues.

I am converting this old built up to the Glidden car.

Another glue bomb project. I am goint to attempt to do the major body joining before paint then assemble the parts inside. I don't like seams in paint and I will often re-engineer the kit.

As my usual I bought a box full of parts. Inside were a partial Young American fe dragster and not a complete Wynns Charger body. I found enough parts in my parts box to make the Young American. I am going to use a fe dragster kit to make the chassis for the Garlits car and I will attempt to make the missing body panels from resin. It will be my first attempts at two part molds. This should be interesting and much cheaper than the acutal kits

Major Glue Bomb

Another restoration only needing a few parts box items.

I have two bodies and i have to bash a bunch of kits to complete. these were major glue bombs.

I have this wedge body and an extra Tommy Ivo rear engine kit. I decided to combine the two and make the Goodell wedge.

This was a kinda messed up kit.

I have a bunch of these that I am going to deepen the tubs and then add a tube front frame with a arm suspension and fix the hood to be like the actual cars that raced.

These are going to take a long time. Very detailed kits and difficult to paint sub assemblies then put together. Lots of planning. The Carbrio has a broken cowel which may be a bear to fix.

Saw this on the Coffin Corner and I had to have one. I made a few subtle changes to the design but overall it is very close.

I have the decals for the Critter to do like the actual car.

If you build the double kit right you have enough parts left to do a curbside streamliner. Of course I am stuck on how to paint it
