| | | | - My great uncle Roger's builds
- I am painting some and whatnot, since he doesnt have a place to paint right now. He used to be a trucker for many years, so expect that is what you will see built here..."trucks he drove". He also bought some hot rod kits! I am so glad that he is building models again!

-
This chebaker is being created from two of my oldest surviving models, an AMT 57 Chevy and an AMT 53 Studebaker. I cut the stude rear end off behind the doors and cut the roof off above the windsheild frame. i replaced the roof with another 53 Studebaker roof and moved it forward maybe a scale inch. the 57 Chevy rear quarters were cut down the center and narrowed to fit the width of the stude body and the new 53 stude roof was grafted into the rear deck of the 57 chevy trunk. All chrome was shaved and the body was smoothed so that the body would flow together. The custom taillighes and rear bumper was added from the 57 Chevy kit. The stude rocker panels were removed and new ones were added to give it a body drop. The front air dam was lowered to match the height of the rockers and smoothed out and blended. The headlights were slanted back almost like a porsche. frame. i replaced the roof with another 53 Studebaker roof and moved it forward maybe a scale inch. the 57 Chevy rear quarters were cut down the center and narrowed to fit the width of the stude body and the new 53 stude roof was grafted into the rear deck of the 57 chevy trunk.
