Judging will be done by YOU..members of the DPMCC
yahoo group AND the forum! Both the group and forum
will be invited to join this contest!
RULES
The car MUST be of a "muscle car"....say you can start with a 1970
Chevelle....then from there you can do WHATEVER you want to with it!
The main thing is you START with a muscle car! Build it stock, drag, custom,
street machine, pro street, pro touring....WHATEVER...just make sure it' a car
between 1964-1979 ONLY!
Start with a fresh kit, either an unbuilt kit OR you can
even take an old built up and COMPLETELY disassemble it and rebuild!
Show photos of what you start with, if you don't have a photo of
what you "intend" to build BEFORE showing progress...you will be
disqualified!
Show in progress photos, send them to one of the moderators such as myself, Marc
or Mj. An album will be set up for your build and photos will be archived in
there. Show as much as you can, the more you can reveal for judging.....the
better your chances!
Awards will be according to how many finished models there are.
The awards will be "for example"....TOP AWARDS like best paint, best detail,
best overall and more! Like I said, it will depend on what CAN be given based on
how many finished builds there are!
If any vendors or cottage guys want to toss in prizes, they are most welcome!
Let's wake up people and have some fun! I will also post this info on our site
soon and the results will be shown there as well!

| | | - CONTEST CLOSED BATTLE OF THE CHOPPERS CONTEST held by Jeremy Nelson
- Starting on January 1 and running thru April 7....There will be 1, 2, 3 place plaques, also there will be a best in show plaque awarded and a best scratchbuilt plaque awarded....The contest will consist of using one of the 6 Revell chopper kits that are available as the basis of this contest.......If anyone is interested in getting in on this contest, please email me and let me know so i can get you a folder set up for your build......
The rules are simple for this contest:
1. have to use one of the 6 Revell chopper kits available
2. you can build it anyway you desire, that includes scratchbuilding of anything you want
3. all i ask is that you use at least one part from the kit and can be noticed by one of the judges...also i would like a pic of the unbuilt kit and a date on the pic....so i know that you will be starting with a fresh kit for your entry.......also, need them sent directly to my email matt_calibur04@yahoo.com, please make the subject something about the chopper contest, so i know it is for the contest....thanks
Voting will be done by myself and another member of Drastics or Adrealine that is not particapating in the contest....
There will be:
1st place, also for the first place winner, Craig Hosfeld will give a year subscription to the printed version of his magazine, the "MCM"
2nd place
3rd place plaques awarded
Best in Show plaque
Best Scratchbuilding used plaque

I want to have a contest that will last until March 31st, 2007 for ALL Drastic members! You know we all love to see in progress photos and some of the mockup shots are VERY motivating! I want everyone to post their most influential mockup photos. Show only ONE SINGLE picture to enter! There is no costs for this contest. The prize will be 10 months of FREE Gold Membership! The membership will expire on February 2nd ,2008. (if you are already a gold member, your membership will just extend an extra 10 months.) So start brainstorming! What photo do you have or can you take that would be super motivating to others? Think about what you can mockup that is not built yet or finished! Take your time and remember what types of mockups in progress shots inspired YOU! The whole club will vote on this contest. Your SINGLE photo will be put in an album on the club fotki site.
