I don't think we have orchids in the wild, but I'm not really sure! I think we have them in our Atlantic islands.

An orchid is a flower that we do not have either. I think it is because of our climate and temperature. They would not survive in our cold temp during the winter months. Perhaps there are some people that have them growing in greenhouse's though.

They are much more resistent to cold than we think, Sheila! They like humidity, but not much water in their roots! I used to lost them before, because I watered them too much:) Now I'm learning:))
