this is me seeing my first lovable basset i adopted a month later from ABC =)

my Melvin had so much fun at this parade. at first we thought it was too hot and that he wouldn't make it but then shortly after the procession of bassets began we got melvin off the pooped pup truck and he took the parade route by storm stopping for everyone to shower him with their love. Melvin loves his people and very much appreciated the love and attention and several snacks that he got on that parade route!
Melvin was also the model for our sandcastle in the 2009 sandcastle contest in rehoboth beach, for which we got 3rd place!
