Harrowsmith, Ontario Semaphore Signals

Canadian National's Smiths Falls Subdivision and Canadian Pacific's Kingston Subdivision crossed at Harrowsmith, Ontario. The crossing was achieved through switches, rather than a "diamond" crossing.

These signals protected the crossing of the two lines. In 1986, the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario (then called Smiths Falls Railway Museum) received permission from both railways to remove the signals. Both branchlines were abandoned by this time.
