    you gave me courage to do what I HAVE BEEN DREADING. I need to cut about 2 inches but I reaaaallly dont want to. It appears that some of it like right in the middle of my length has gotten straight. not sure if its heat damaged or not but at the end of 2011 im cutting it off! whew, pray for me!lol

      You'll be fine. It's just two inches :o) If you cut it now, you won't have to keep wishing those straight pieces were gone. You can get it over with and have the hair you want now. Just saying. I'm not trying to pressure you or anything. Well, maybe I am, but it is your hair. I wish you the best. I know you'll make the decision that's best for you.
