Great show today. Huge gathering of Lotuses, Mustangs, Porsches and the usual eclectic mix of everything else. Particularly loved the 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, the Riley Elf, 599 GTB, the Caterham Superlight Rs, and that RUF that never quite made it into Seinfeld's hands.

Great show today! Hot as heck though. In case you haven't noticed, the bikes are just as good as the cars some weeks. Well, this was definitely one of those weeks. Spotted a Ducati Desmosedici RR! All $72,500 of it. Quite a few nice cars and even a couple of friendly faces.

Great week with British cars featured in the corral. Surprises included Chip Foose with his P-32 hot rod, a new Cuda Convertible Concept by Metalcrafters and a pair of Ultima GTRs. Other highlights included an eggplant 599 GTB, SLR, Murci, ragtop lead sled, a Joan Crawford Caddy, and an old F1 car that was driven into the front lot! Only caught a glimpse of it though as we were headed out. Oh, and another memorable ride over and back in a sweet Lotus Esprit.

HUGE turnout today. Featured marque Alfa Romeo really packed the corral and there were rumors of exotics all the way over in the spectator garage and lots.

Very nice, rare Dodge D500 at the show today. Something that set the tone for the day, where I noticed mostly the old cars around the lot. One scene really jumped out at me too: the Exige S and 308 side-by-side. As much as we applaud the Lotus for being so small and light in today's sports car world, 30 years ago everything was this small, as seen in the Ferrari by its side. Amazing.

Started a little slow, but about 350 cars again today. Somber mood because of the fires. Lots of stories to share all around. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected.

Rainy day

The cooler weather and football season seem to be keeping the crowds a bit thinner than usual, but still a stellar show. Probably only 300 cars this week, but quite a few gems in the mix.

Great day. Lots of infrequent visitors made it down. Must have been the PAP effect.

Busy lot but no huge surprises. The Callaway Speedster returned with its older sibling. The Caliber SRT-4 made its first appearance. Some nice Ferraris and British cars and Porsches as always. Cute gal with a ball python, and a couple more handing out passes to the VIP show next weekend at the Grove of Anaheim.

Pretty amazing day today: F50, 959, Callaway Speedster, Ford Airstream and Interceptor, Lincon MKR, and a bunch of other cool cars.

Some really great surprises today. Challenger concept and original; GT500 and '68 'Stang, Super Gas Willys, Triumph as the featured marque, Audi R8, new watches, Lancia Fulvia, Vectors, Callaway Speedster, Esprits, Caballero, lots of beautiful people and classic cars.

The big Ford GT gathering was today and I think the final count was around 90 GTs plus about 20 more GT40s from Superformance and others. It was truly amazing to see the incredible turnout. Throw in the regular large turnout and it was one of those overflow weekends where some super cars were parked in the spectator lot. After the show we followed the GTs across the street to the Saleen Store where they were showing off their latest S281 E S550. A series of color-matched Extremes for GT owners who want a daily driver with the same amount of power in a more practical package.

Pretty full lot even with the heat. A bunch of Lambos, tons of Ferraris, a "Corvette Summer" custom, Caterham, Viper ACR, lots of the usual classic Porsches/Minis/Benzes, etc. Wonderful surprises included wicked period '57 drag racer, Ghibli, Merak, LaForza, and the new Mk.I GT40 from Superformance, complete with a sweet Gurney built engine. Very nice.

Featured Marque: Porsche

They set up in the lot across the street today to accommodate the charity run taking place to raise money for wheelchairs. Pretty incredible turnout. Veyron, SLR, Bizzarrini, 3 Vectors, C16, Stillen GT, replica GT40, Daytona Spider, Packards, old Jags, a bunch of Ferraris, Porsches, Astons and the like. Other highlights included the Bandit T/A, the Lancia Flaminia, and the Volvo prototypes in the open lobby. Very cool show.

Lamborghini was the featured marque and they really put on a great show. Just about every model made an appearance. The rest of the lot was filled with the typical incredible assortmant of hot rods, European classics, exotics, muscle cars, bikes, and vintage rides. Vector creator, Gerald Weigert even brought out his jet bikes! A quick peek inside revealed a few custom Volvos too.

Featured marque Alfa Romeo really brought the goods this week. And there was Chip Foose with his Hemisfear concepts, an Enzo, 2 SLRs, and a whole bunch of other great cars this week. Overflow capacity. Can only guess what it will be like on Cinco de Mayo when Ferrari is the featured marque again.

Another stellar week. 400 LWB Superamerica, 275 GTB/4 (piloted by none other than Roland Linder), 959, GT3 RS, old Jags including another C-Type recreation, just look for yourself. A really great show.

Best Cars & Coffee EVER! 3 Miuras, F50, Weigert with the Vectors, Steve Millen and wife with their orange Fords, Reeves with his C16, old Ferraris, new Ferraris, old Porsches, new Porsches, C-Type Jag, 2 Panoz AIV Roadsters, Scott's new GT3, and, uh, I know I'm forgetting something, oh yeah...Michael Schumacher's 2001 USGP car! The one that had the black nose after 9/11. The only Ferrari F1 car with an American flag on it. The car that only MS and Tony Nobels (the current owner) have driven. What an incredible day. Just like the best days at Crystal Cove. The surprises kept rolling in.

After the show Drew and I went on a Motor Press Guild run from Specialty Transport in Long Beach to the Mercedes Classic Center in Irvine via a private collection in Huntington Beach. A whole lot of incredible Mercedes for the latter part of the day. That gallery is in the Museums/Factories/Dealers folder.

Great turnout. Lots of fresh cars.

It was pretty overcast today and I think it may have kept some people home. The lot wasn't full but there were still several showstoppers. Shoreline brought an SLR with some sick rims, Ferrari 250 GT LWB "Tour de France," red 959, gray Daytona, white Countach, old school '57 Chevy street racer, Audi Sport Quattro, Fiat Abarth, Jags, Porsches, Ferraris...another good week.

Sweet! After a stellar C&C I made the trip up to Burbank for the AutoBooks show. MotorheadsTV wa filming and although there weren't a ton of cars up there, the ones that showed were pretty nice. Extra special because of the pople there as well. Lance from Superformance had Shelby's personal Brock Coupe. Reeves brought the Callaway C16. Claudio had the Cizeta there. Dick Guldstrand showed up in one of his signature 50th Anniversary Corvettes too. A little extra excitement when a couple of classic cars had a pretty rough brushup out front too. Nobody looked too badly hurt although the Chevelle driver had quite a gash on his forehead and both cars had considerable damage. Followed Lance and Claudio back to the OC for a bit and got a few extra motion shots while piloting the Magnum SRT-8. Which, by the way, happens to be quite steady at easily attainable ridiculously arrestable speeds.

Another great showing. Lots of Ferraris, SLR, and a beautiful Lamborghini 400GT 2-seater. Plus we caught our first glimpse of the new Porsche GT3 RS!

Fun day today. Veyron, Daytona Spider, lots of great Porsches, muscle cars, classics, sports cars, exotics...just like always. Took a quick run over to a first-class shop in Costa Mesa afterwards, following Tom in the awesome 375 MM. What a trip!

Ferrari was the featured marque today and there was a great turnout. In fact the beautiful weather seemed to bring out just about everybody and we filled the whole lot by about 7:45. Was really nice to see so many familiar faces. Also stopped for breakfast at the old stomping grounds after the show. Talk about surreal.

Incredible turnout this morning considering it was just 39 degrees when I got there at 6:30. Ferrari Series I Cab. silver "GTO", SLR, SL65, S65, 612, F430, black CS, Cizeta, Bentley GTC (that we took for a short spin!), Ariel Atom, lots of nice Porsches as always, including a CGT and red 997 GT3, black anniversary Countach, Cheetah, Pro Street Pinto, M6 Cab, and my pic for best of show today, DeTomaso Mangusta.

Surprisingly high turnout today. First SLR, black CGT, VW drag racer, lots of really cool stuff.

Full lot of super high quality again this week. Lusso, 275 GTB, Boxers, F430s, 360s, 355s, 328, 308, Esprits, 997 GT3, bitchin T-Bird, lots of very sweet hot rods, periscope Countach, Iseta, Pro Street Pinto, R34 Skyline GT-R, 289 Cobra, GT350s, SPF GT40, Callaway C16, Roush, Saleen and Foose Mustangs, Motorama Nomad concept, and that Sofronas Porsche race car driving in! What a way to say goodbye to 2006.

Gerald was true to his word and brought over his new Black and Rosso Dino Bugatti Veyron! Lots of other cool cars today too. Was nice seeing so many familiar faces just before the Holiday. I did lose my little Santa Stitch figure though. :(

Gloomy skies kept many people away today. But there were still quite a few cars on hand. About a dozen Ferraris, lots of Porsches as usual. A bunch of Lotuses, American classics, Mustangs, Vipers, vettes, the Vector WX3 coupe, Audi RS4, a pair of Spykers with a Brabus Rocket CLS and in the featured marque corral, Callaway had not only his familiar Speedster and C12 Carbon, but also last week's LA Auto Show display car, the new C16 with 611 hp!

Some sad news to report too. In response to last week's over-the-top display of more horsepower than brains, the signs came out reminding people that they are in fact on somebody else's property and to be well behaved. No burnouts was the message on the signs and fliers. Too bad common sense didn't kick in before now.

Wow. These shows keep amazing week after week. Last week we saw our first visit by a Maserati MC12 and this week we were visited by our first 599 GTB. Very nice in black. Marines were on hand collecting for their Toys 4 Tots program and got to see everything from a Pro Street Beetle to a Cizeta. Abarth 1300, Cobra 289 FIA, lots of Saleens, gorgeous black Pantera, Lusso, 330 GTC, Daytona, all black Atom, Crosslè race car, Panamerica Porsche, lots of Loti, F-cars, P-Cars and a wicked little Shelby GLH-S.

Holy wow! Second largest gathering of Ford GTs ever after the big rally, usual full lot of muscle cars, sports cars, and exotics and a nice surprise with our old friend the Rosso Dino Enzo being joined by its platform mate, the Maserati MC12.

It was a pretty quiet morning, but the BMWs alone were worth the trip. The 2002 ttii, 502 (?) V-8, Isetta, CSLs, M6es, M3 race car, and that M1! It was perfect. even had my name on it. You guys are the best. The Superbird convertible, the old Chrysler 77, the C6/Bel-Air/Impala, so cool. And that Excelero is so over-the-top! Hope to see more of that again. Soon.

Show was pretty strong today, despite losing a bunch of Ferraris and Vipers to the Balboa show. The lot was still full by 7:15 or so.

Huge turnout this morning. Not a lot of ambiance in the big lot across the street, but the cars more than made up for it! Enzo, RS200, Carrera GT, Vantage, Countach, Super Street Metro, Lancia Delta Integrale, Panoz AIV, GT40, beautiful classic Pontiacs, Porsches, Chevys, Ferraris, Plymouths...very eclectic and cool. Headed over to Sevenstock9 afterwards. Some really insane rotary rods over there! Seperate album in the "other automotive events" folder.

The first event at PAG was phenomenal. Porsche had pride of place in the club corral up front, but the classic Ferraris--all $20 mil of them--were simply amazing: Series I Cab, Daytona, 250 GT SWB, 166 MM, 375 MM, F40...just stunning.
