Super show today. Some incredible cars that show up out of nowhere and put a smile on everyone's faces. The Batmobile, the turbo Starlet, the RS200, 300 SL Gullwing, F40, COPO Camaro, hot rod Healey, Unimog, LM002 and that wild orange Vision SZR to name several. http://www.visionk2.com - Album was created 9 months ago and modified 9 months ago

An off Sunday to remember. After last night's f-chat awards, this was a great way to relax and return to the cars that bring us together. After the meet we took a drive over to Villa Malibu for a charity brunch to raise some cash for the Motor4Toys event in December. Great food at a cool facility. http://villamalibuliving.com/ - Album was created 10 months ago and modified 10 months ago

An amazing turnout again this week. Big thanks to JJ for the ride in his near-perfect 328. Great to see so many friends and so many fantastic vehicles. Unfortunately there are still a few businesses complaining about too many customers in the lot so Dusty has a few more phone calls to make to help keep things running smoothly. They even called out some tow trucks to scare people off. For the past three years this has been the ONLY reason to go to this strip mall on a Sunday morning, but some people would apparently prefer to have no customers and lose the weekly traffic that his high profile charity-helping event has generated. Way to look a gift horse in the mouth. Hopefully we won't be seeing the last of this great show anytime soon. complaining about too many customers in the lot so Dusty has a few more phone calls to make to help keep things running smoothly. Cool show today. The new hours seem to be 6-10:30. And just like at Cars & Coffee, we ask for everybody's help in keeping the burnouts and hotdogging out of the area. It only takes one idiot to ruin it for everybody and if the Mustang guy, the M3 guy, the GTO guy, the Carrera GT guy and this week's loser, the Diablo guy haven't accomplished it yet, it's not for lack of trying. The organizers really have gone out of their way to keep things running smoothly so don't be so ungrateful. A fender bender by the freeway and a crippled Lotus brought even more unwanted attention to the area, so everyone needs to chill out. It's a meet, not a racetrack. it for everybody and if the Mustang guy, the M3 guy, the GTO guy, the Carrera GT guy and this week's loser, the Diablo guy haven't accomplished it yet, it's not for lack of trying. Took the Magnum up to VCR this morning and had a blast. Foggy and cool in the OC turned into sunny and "Summer already?" way too fast. Great seeing everybody and their awesome cars. Followed Kev and Amy over to Jeremy's place afterwards for Maddox's 1st birthday. What a party! Look for that album in the party section. Drove up from HB with Brian in the Elise. As much as I love that car for its razor-sharp reflexes, it is loud and cramped and the ride a bit too stiff. And did I mention cold? Thankfully Bri fitted the top which helped with that last bit, but did nothing for the amount of room inside. Still a great run up to VCR, where the temp registered 28 on arrival. Not the big end-of-month show today, but still a pretty good turnout. Lots of the regulars on hand and apparently a Mustang group was having a rally. A few GTs crashed the party including two GTX1s! Felt kind of special getting to share in Kevin's 19,999-20,000 mile transition. Had to leave in a bit of a hurry, but it was nice to meet a few new peeps and see most of the gang before we split. the top which helped with that last bit, but did nothing for the amount of room inside. What a way to close out hte year car wise. A pretty full lot with some of the usual suspects and several new surprises thrown in for good measure. One of the first cars I saw when i got there was a Miura S. At that moment I said that even if nobody else showed up, it would be a great show. But it got even better. Karim's Skyline and Kraig's Honda. New GT3 and Turbos, 2 CGTs, several Cobras and Ford GTs. Lots of Ferraris. Good assortment of Lambos including the Miura, a "regular" Diablo and the purple SE, a "regular" Murci and a new black LP640 too, Gallardo, SE and Spyder too. Old Mini Cabrio, a few Bitchin pro street Chevys, Avanti and Golden Hawk. Too many to list so look at the pics for the rest. Thanks for the great memories this year everybody. Miura S. Make sure you read my Welcome page [ http://welcome.frank4cars.fotki.com/] for all of the relevant legal information about using these images. My first visit to the show at Dustin's incredible Village Coffee Roaster ( http://www.villagecoffeeroaster.com/) was memorable, but too brief. Next time I'm getting there earlier and staying longer. The parking lot was overflowing with the most wildly ecclectic array of cars I've ever seen. And this was AFTER I'd arrived in a jet-fighter-acceleration-capable Gallardo TT. As in twin turbo. Thanks Wayne. I'm still smiling. Village Coffee Roaster ( http://www.villagecoffeeroaster.com/) was memorable, but too brief. Next time I'm getting there earlier and staying longer.
