A few pics of Kris' start from his "two strand twist". He has been twisted 1 1/2 months.

My first year in this journey was not bad at all for me. I dealt with my initial big chop and the fuzzies. My son has had his two strand twist for two months now. (I want my hair to look like his.) :D

Updated pictures of my family

My locs have gotten tighter and my hair has grown since my last updates. I love the way my locs feel and I cannot keep my fingers out of them. Since being on Fotki, I have learned so much and gained alot of knowledge on how to care and maintain my locs. Thanks to everyone who has shown a sista some well appreciated LOVE!!

I have not posted since maybe November 2006. I have been very busy but I am going to make time to do these updates and more often. I have my third digi and this time . . . . I got a good one!! It's a CANON, Ya'll!!! HEY!!!

Well, here are FEW updates! One of my son's pics also. (These are all the pics that fotki will let me enter this time. I do the "free" thing, so my space is very limited :-l )

Well, I am coming up on my two year locaversary!!
I am so in love with my hair, it is hard to put in words.

I made it two years but there was never a doubt for me. Turning back never crossed my mind from day 1, two years ago.
Loc'ing and loving all the way !!

Well, it's a new year and Happy New Year to everyone!!! I am now wearing glasses, sometimes I like them and sometimes I wish I had picked out a different frame.

I started a new job (Jan.) and have been busy and tired at the same time. I will do better and post more often. Still on my journey and I am lovin' it more and more each day!!

Well , we are heading towards the end of summer . . . hate the sound of that, 'cause I love summer so much. I have now been loc'ed for close to three years now . . . . . Still "in love" with my hair!!

In one month, October 6th, I will be loc'ed for 3 years!! My locs are getting better with time . . .

Well, I just turned 3 years Oct 6 2008!! I have come along way but I am still dealing with loose strands here and there but all in all my locs have really come together and I love it!! That does not stop my admiration for others and their gorgeous starter babies or years and years of beautiful locs!!

I have a few pics about a month shy of 4 years and a couple are days before. Still in the process of a color change. It will be accomplished.

Still working on my color change. On a mission to lighten. I have to get drastic to change the color but it is looking better.

I am still working on my color. I am more blonde now, so what I am doing is working but it is still a process. Have not quite perfected my color but I am getting there.

It has been a while fotki fam but I am still loc'ing and doing well. I have branched out and done something different to my hair . . . hope you like . . .

I made 5 years loc'ed this past October!! I have done a couple of different looks with my locs from shaving off one side to doing a "Bob" cut. I love the Bob, so right now that is what I am wearing.
