Here's a quick one, started back in Feb., right after our 24 hour Lemans build. Guess I was in a Lemans building mood after our 24.
Some modifications: To the body ... The side scoops were only an 1/8" deep to allow for a the 4 "AA" batterys that would power the electric motor. Yeah right! There gone and the scoops were rebuilt to their proper depth. Screens will be added soon. The front scoop was shaped wrong and attached to the main body. Changed and modified, made a seperate item and reshaped to be correct.
I never did like molded in light details, so their all gone. Replaced with aluminum rings and clear units.
Lots of other smaller changes I'll get into later.
I'd like to thank Pat Redmond and Bart Orlans for donating the correct wheel baskets to this project, and Kevin at Strada Sports for donating some missing "Jules" decals left off the Studio 27 decal sheet.
Total time on this one should be about 65 to 75 hours. Look for completion sometime in early August.
