*AK SHAHM #104990 (Gassir x Shahbaa, by Hamdan) 1966 grey stallion bred by the EAO; imported to the USA 1973 by Jarrell McCracken; sired 45 registered purebreds in the USA
Yes, he DID have a beautiful head, and he WAS a beautiful, wonderful, and extremely potentially-important horse; since he possessed NO Nazeer blood whatsoever, and represented an IDEAL outcross for mares inbred with that blood. Ironically, people regarded his head as "not beautiful ENOUGH", compared to some of those of the heavily-inbred Moniet El Nefous and inbred Nazeer stock on the huge farm which imported him, and he ended up barely being used at all. Such a TERRIBLE loss, and an INEXCUSABLE waste.
