This horse is not Murmansk but Kumir.

Bianca obviously still has to learn a lot about the Arabian breed nowadays. She writes the same wrong things under many of the pictured horses.

Here and there I cleared it up but probably not everywhere. Thanks for "helping", AnFi!

I have seen the photo in an AHS News magazine and it is the Naplyv by Pomeranets x Nitochka. He was owned I believe by Miss Margaret Evans. She is pictured riding him in The Arab Horse in Europe.

I think that he is normally spelled with only one S - Gusar.

Although he has MANY Polish lines, he was bred by Tersk and as such is a Russian Arabian.

Moment is out of lines that are considered to be straight russian.
He was bred by the russian state stud Tersk. As far as I know his father (Salon) also.
His mother (Malpia) was one of the best broodmares at Tersk producing also Moments fullbrother Muscat who among others was responsible for straight russian boom in the US back in the eighties.

Aremeriel, you seem to have known him, is that right?

If so, you don't happen to have some pics of him to share?

Thanks!

Could be that the neck just seems to be shorter than it really is.

I'g go for Angel, too!

I'm not sure, but the back looks a bit short for it to be Raseem. However, the neck looks a bit short for it to be Angel, but my guess would be Angel.... The white on the hind legs matches Angel...

Angel was put down in August this year due to sickness. He was a great horse

This does indeed look like Angel. I checked it against a picture taken of Angel in 1998 and the white on the hind legs matches that picture of Angel.

Actually he is half Polish and and half Russian. His great grandmother on his mom's side is Platforma who has a half polish and half egyptian background. No wonder that he is so beautiful if he has 3 types of Arabians in him : Polish, Russian and Egyptian.

There is another (colour) photo of her in the Arabian directory K folder:-)
Hugely important broodmare!!!

She stands at Georgi Arabians in Germany. She turned 30 this year and is fine.

If you look on this page, you'll find some new pics of her:
