My parents used to manage Nodoroma farms. They were involved in the moving of Flaigor from Illionois to Florida when Nodoroma farms purchased him. It's wonderful to see a picture of him as he was before my time. My parents say he was a gorgeous horse, he was Blue List. You are very lucky to own one of his offspring. My parents also saw him compete at some of the big Arab shows, as I am told he did very well. He was a brilliant mover. We have an early picture of him taken when he was about 4 years of age, he was a heart stopper. He looks older in this picture, but like you say Becky it was most likely taken at Nodoroma farms. They should have stretched his neck out though, it would have shown how long and thin it was.
Hi... I see this is a picture of Flaigor.. this is my mare's Dad! WOOWHO!!!! this is such a shock ... being she is a grey... how do I post a picture of her??
I missed meeting Flaigor by a few months. His last owner Sandra (prev. Hicks) Fink is my best horse friend. I'm guessing this picture was taken at Nodoroma - Sandy has some more Crabbet-y looking shots of him.
My Morab filly is a great granddaughter, as well as a great/great granddaughter of Flaigor.
