    Gulastra was one of the few US bred sons of Astraled imported by Brown from the Crabbet farm in England. Astraled spent most of his time improving the bloodlines of army remounts (mostly thoroughbreds). Gulastra was produced in Astraled's last crop of foals. He counts both as Egyption and as Crabbet (CMK) bloodlines. He was 30 when he died -- in 1954.

    I have his Great, Granddaughter:) Gulastra, is one strong stallion, and I love his bloodlines.. If anyone knows any information on Gulastra please tell me.. All I know is that he was put to sleep when he was 57 years old, with a bad leg... I couldn't believe my eyes when I read the story:)
