This awesome stallion is *KEM Safir, who's name was changed after he was imported. I own a 31 yr. old daughter of his named Queensilk. I e-mailed the last owner of *KEM Safir and this photo was the one she sent me. He was sired by Hadban Enzahi and out of Sahmet who was by Hadban Enzahi. He was imported from Germany to the U.S. and then to Canada.

This horse is not Kumir. Kumir had four white legs and a much smaller blaze.

I acquired a beautiful mare 1 1/2 years ago named GA GEE WHIZ. I am IN LOVE. Her dam is BO KHEMA and sire is LA BASQUE. She looks so much like her grandsire it is unreal. I know she was owned by the Garretts in Utah. Would love to know more about her and perhaps her foals.

She was foaled 1/23/1992 and I call her "Skyye".

I know someone who has a 28 year daughter of his. Also, I knew this horse when Ruth Donohue owned him.

I see this was posted some time ago but I will answer anyway. Kontiki has been dead for some time . His most famous son is still alive . The gentlemen who owns the stables where we board our horses owned kontiki . And still owns some of the best race horses in the world . My father also own's some of ibn kontiki's offspring .
