I began an "Arabian Horse Directory" in response to several save-from-slaughter incidents in early 2000. The ability to access and share heritage information is frequently the determining factor in getting an Arabian Horse into the home where its bloodlines and place in history will be valued independently of concern for the individual animal. There are not enough rescue people to absorb all of our wonderful arabians who have found themselves in feedlots or at low-end auctions -- it has to be done by 'keepers of the breed' and new keepers of the breed need to be grown. If you own any of these pictures and want them removed or displayed in an alternate fashion, please contact me at:
hypoint@horses-etc.com. If you are an equine photographer of Arabian Horses and wish me to link to you or showcase you in ANY way, please let me know. You have been the chroniclers of the Arabian Horse. Thank you. -- Wendy
Are you going to do a page on Bask's influence in other breeds?? If so I have some pics of our Trakehner and his dam, & grand dam. His dam was inspected & approved for breeding with the American Trakehner Association, in the PSB stud book. So far, she has produced to Trakehner foals, one colt & one filly. Kismet Ky~Anne has double Baski in her through her sire Abaskus (by Bask) and through her dam Kismet Fancy Fire, who's sire is Firebrand.
Most Sincerely

ps. I have just recently acquired a lovely 13 year old flea bitten grey Reg Mare TF Shenanigans (Hawk Hill Cycrazk x KA Cash-Mira) I will be looking to further my knowledge on her pedigree if anyone can be of help I would appreciate it. How do I come up with Percentages and such on her pedigree? Or what strain / line she is? Any information would be so helpful.
