I began an "Arabian Horse Directory" in response to several save-from-slaughter incidents in early 2000. The ability to access and share heritage information is frequently the determining factor in getting an Arabian Horse into the home where its bloodlines and place in history will be valued independently of concern for the individual animal. There are not enough rescue people to absorb all of our wonderful arabians who have found themselves in feedlots or at low-end auctions -- it has to be done by 'keepers of the breeds' and new keepers of the breed need to be grown.     I purchased An Arab mare at auction last week-end & wish to find her a good home.She has vondar Shaquille & Scepteres Khameo as sire & Dame I have to tell you I don't know much about the Arabs.But she is a beautiful yearling.She has khemosabi,Amerigo,& Bask in her bloodllines.I would let her go very cheep as I bought a quarter horse for grand-daughter whom lives with me & I don't have the time to spend on the arab.If interested please E-Mail at berdell1@lakes.com

    I own a small farm in Florida. I have a Khemosabi grandson (Khemos Centurion, and have rescued an arabian mare and gelding over the past few years.
    I am interested in any efforts to save these beautiful creatures and may even be able to give a lifelong home to a limeted few mares.
