Pueblo Viejo and Cahuachi Pyramids 17kms North of Nasca, Cahuachi is an archeological site shaped by a series of pyramids built with walls of adobe, leaving spaces opened like squares that separate them. It was a ceremonial center for the early phase of the Nasca culture.
A disheartening thing is walking around the grave site and finding the desecration of the area by tomb raiders. All over the site you can see pieces of cloth, shards and bones lying around the desert. Hopefully something is being done to protect the site from grave looters. No comments yet.
