This creamery is typical of the design of many of the local village creameries from the early to mid 1900's, when there was a normal farming society on the land and in the villages. There are very few of these creameries still standing. They were designed to produce generally butter, but sometimes also cheese as those products could be more easily shipped to larger markets as cash crops. iowaz@hotmail.com
