Walk-about photo survey of the plots and markers in the SE corner of the Spencerburg Cem, Pike Co, M ...more
issouri. There are numerous unmarked burials and unreadable/broken markers in this corner of the cemetery. The old burial lists in another album in this folder might help deduct possible burials around a known surname plot/marker. This is the same with the album containting burial in the SW corner/quarter of the cemetery. firstname.lastname@example.org

Walk-through photo survey of the northern portion of Spencerburg Cem, Spencer Twp, Pike Co, MO. The ...more
album starts with a general pan of the cemetey taken from the middle of the east side fench line, to get an overview of the northern portion. The 'first row' is on the eastern edge of the cemetery and is walked south to north as if one were focusing on a plot area, then on each marker area. The file names indicate a plot area or burial name when possible. The pics are numbered in sequence for reference so one can return to a general area. Past inscription lists put together by others in past years are in another album, so notes of burial areas can be matched with pics from photo survey areas, as numerous markers are gone in 2005, that were present in the 1970-80 time-frame. Some markers are broken and displaced so not in the correct burial position. I did not have chalk available during this survey, but will someday go back to chalk some unreadable markers. The cemetery portion on the north side of the drainage waterway runniing SE to NW contains the majority of the marked burials so was walked 'row-by-row;' The burials in the SE corner and SW corner are more scattered, broken, disorganized and will be put in albums for those area. email@example.com
