interestingly enough a photog in a show called "Dirt" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0496275/) was also an avid fan of cat pictures. My own level of schizophrenia doesn't reach the level of medical interest (it is my belief that there is not one person completely non-schizophrenic. only the level varies) but it is interesting to observe certain trends in people dealing with arts and their placement on a cat-dog axis.

it also reminded me of a qoute "patience, persistence and a point of view" - the three P's of the papparazzi game. much like a cat, waiting at a mouse hole.

most of it is shot with Pentax DA* 60-250/4 (http://www.pentaximaging.com/camera-lenses/smc_PENTAX_DA_Star_60-250mm_F4_ED_%28IF%29_SDM/ ) an awesome lens
some of it has been shot with Pentax DA* 16-50/2.8 - a decent (not overly sharp) normal zoom that handles great.

some handheld quickies with sidelight from Metz 58 AF-1 + plastic overhead reflector for some fill

lõppvariandis sai osade piltide valgebalanssi säetud ja hulk dubleerivaid kaadreid elimineeritud ning välgust valgustatud valgele ekraanile multiply meetodiga ürituse logo tagasi kantud

igal aastal kutsub IBM kokku oma kliendid ja korraldab suurema suhtlemisürituse. Kurb lugu on, et vanu tuttavaid jääb järjest vähemaks. Well, it's the damned circle of life sh*t - nolgid/kollanokad trügivad peale ja vanad kobivad pensile. [Enamus pilte siin on SOOC. Samas on ka pilte, mis on hoolikalt kropitud :P Mind you, that selles albumis, on suur osa pilte teiste pildistet (minu kaameraga, though)]

PS. EXIF reedab, et vähemalt neljandik pilte on manuaalfookusega vanakooli SMC Pentax M 50mm 1:1.8 klaasiga lastud. I _am_ a sucker for that buttery bokeh :P

et mitte kogu autorluse au endale võtta siis selgituseks, et suures osas tegin vaid kropid - enamus pilte selle albumi alguses on Õile/Sandra tehtud, lõpupoole Karli ja päris viimased Andrese. paar vahepealset voolamise ja dunk'amise pilti jms on minu. Õige viis Antoni dunki vaadata on Fast Picture Vieweriga \\FILESERV otsast oma masinasse kopeeritud piltidel kiirelt hiirt edasi-tagasi kruttida ;) ahjaa.. ärgu unustatagu FPVieweri riistvaratuge sisse lülida.

Unfortunately lighting was inadequate for the occasion. So was the sound reinforcement (or rather the lack of it) but it doesn't show on the photos :)

I left the most recent frames in here and these are the ones that have the most extensive paperwork done about them so there's absolutely no risk of publishing these.
I promise to post some more as I get around to convert these.

the temperature outside dropped below zero and I remixed a bird feeding facility using some old (the roofing and roof support beams) and mostly new materials. the birds seem to approve :)
I now need a pair of wingnuts to fix the roof that is held by the hinges on the other side.
