These pictures were taken at various times from Dec.2001 - 2003. My mindset from the get-go was, "let's make cancer fun". Keeping a positive attitude is such an important part of surviving. I love the most recent saying from the BrCa site, "I have cancer but cancer doesn't have me". The memory I will never forget is that my husband, Butch,shaved his head too!! He did mine, then I did his!! That meant so much to me. I got 2 tame rabbits to keep me company.Tinka & Bella...what a mistake that was!!!! After 2 lumpectomies,chemo, radiation I am now 3 years out and cancer free!!!
