These creatures are very beautiful and some of them command our respect. All of them get respect from me. I do not handle them or pursue them. I have encountered one Gila Monster and one Mojave Rattlesnake, both without a camera. They went their way and I went mine both uninterrupted. I am watchful when I walk to avoid any problem.
