04/02/2001 Death Valley National Park, California

With its expansion in 1994 this area changed in status from a National Monument to a National Park. 550 square miles of it is below sea level. It is the largest National Park in the contiguous 48 States, Alaska having the only larger one. Much history and misery was experienced here. Two different visits are included in this album, the first on April 2, 2001 and the second on December 24, 2005. This album has been completed on no more pictures will be added.
