I spent all of my teen years in this area and consider it to be the ultimate in river scenery. Had I grown up in any other Southwestern Oregon area I am sure I would have felt the same way about the Mckenzie, Willamette, Santiam, Rogue, Illinois, Klamath or other beautiful rivers.
