I had never known how to get to the dam that provides water to the Hurricane systems. First I stopped at the Pioneer Museum in Hurricane and nobody knew where it was. I drove up to the flats above La Verkin and started driving out all of the dirt roads (a nightmare with my low Honda Accord). Finally I found it in the deep canyon but couldn't drive anywhere close to it because of a locked gate and chain-link fencing and razor wire galore. I walked along the canyon rim to take my telephoto photos. It was not an up close and personal visit. This album has been completed and no more photos will be added.
