06/18/2011 Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah

The weather was less than perfect but I was surprised how well the colors came out without the glare of bright sunshine. These were all taken in the later afternoon. I had driven past the road to Cedar Breaks about two weeks previously and it was still closed by snow. The recent melting of some of the snow allowed tourist access but there was a lot of water running and muddy alpine meadows still mostly covered with snow. The wildflower season will likely be late. This album has been completed and no more photos will be added.
