These photos were taken from the Temple Quarry Trail / Wagon Road which passes along a hillside across from the airport (soon to be replaced by a new modern facility). While there I was fortunate enough to watch and photograph two military jets taking off. The trail leads to the quarry which was the source of the volcanic basalt which after shaping to specific sizes was hauled by wagon down to the LDS Temple construction site in Saint George. The stones were placed as a foundation for the temple building. This album has been completed and no more photos will be added.
