These photos were taken in the Church Rocks area of Red Cliffs Desert Reserve which I accessed via Coral Canyon Community Trail, Washington City, Utah. You leave the Coral Canyon Trail when it gets close to I-15 and walk down to the outflow of a culvert and through under the northbound lanes up a hill in the median to the outflow of a culvert under the southbound lanes and through it to the wash beyond the freeway (I call it Coral Canyon Wash). From there it is a short distance on up the wash and up the hill to the Bureau of Land Management trail system for Red Cliffs Desert Reserve (Church Rocks Area). This is a much shorter route to Church Rocks but should be avoided if you are claustrophobic about passing through the culverts both of which are 6' in diameter and approximately 150' long. It gets quit dark upon entry and there is traffic noise from above also. While in the Coral Canyon Wash I met three riders on muleback and they happily posed for me against the red rocks beside the wash. The day was further capped off by a sunset when I arrived home. This album has been completed and no more photos will be added.
