I drove up Bowery Creek Road to the Vermilion Castle Trailhead and proceeded to hike up the mountainside. It didn't go where I had hoped and I didn't have enough time to get there and back off-trail. I settled for a number of pictures from that trail as it was and then returned to the car and drove on up the road and took the rest from the road at some power of telephoto on most of them. I drove to Yankee Meadow Reservoir at the end of the road and then returned to the red rock area for a last look before returning home. This was a very productive day! This album has been completed and no more photos will be added.
