Even Easier Jedi Holocron
Feb 9, 2008

Kryy Jacobi (Karyn) of The Jedi Assembly posted recently about finding a starburst lamp at Fry’s Electronics. She placed it in the same plastic baseball display cube I had used for my original holocron. It has a very narrow cord that can be strung out of the cube to its battery pack.

    Jedi Food Capsule Tutorial
    Jan 2, 2003

This is a photo tutorial on how to make the Jedi Food capsules as seen on the belts of Jedi characters in Ep I and II.

I have based this tutorial on one I found a couple years ago at
However, it has not been available for many months. It was originally done by "Bobadept". Thus I am creating a new tutorial. The parts for the food capsules are described at

    Jedi Belt Tutorial

Here's how to make the Jedi Belt worn by Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Anakin in Episodes I & II. First there are some reference photos which illustrate the fact that there is quite a variety in the style.

Materials: 2 in wide leather belt blank; 1 in wide leather belt blank; leather dye in preferred color; buckles, 1 large for the back and the "fashion" buckle for the front; regular leather rivets and Sam Browne rivets; leather punch; leather glue

    Jocasta Nu

This is the making of the Jocasta Nu costume from Star Wars Ep. II as I did it in 2002.
2005: Now that it has been confirmed that the markings are embroidered, I'll be re-doing this. I've also seen the real costume at FIDM
