Tonight was the special "Club Auction" night. Our auctioneer was again the able-bodied (???) Russ and his beautiful assistant Zimm. Lots of fun and the proceeds went to support the club's activities. Nominations were also held for the officers for the upcoming 2010 year.

It was the night for the annual Slammers Potluck Christmas Dinner as well as the election for the 2009 Officers. We all had a great meal and then went about club business.

A prospective member showed up to see what kind of bunch we are and had some great models to share with us all during our monthly "modeling roundtable".

David J., a long-distance member from Salina, KS, showed up for the fun and brought along some great modeling builds to show everyone!

The regular monthly meeting was held at the North Kansas City Community Center starting at 7:30 PM and ending at 8:45.

In April of 2008, the club moved to the North Kansas City Community Center.

This month's meeting was held at Rod's Shop in Shawnee, Kansas.

The highlight of the December meeting was the election of club officers for 2008 and the annual Christmas Pot-Luck Buffet.

The semi-annual club auction is always held at the November meeting and the dynamic duo of Russ and Zimm again did the honors for the event!

For the October, 2008 meeting the club met in Liberty, MO, for the first time.

Sadly, this was Clyde's last meeting. Jeff completed the restoration of the Heartland Sign that Clyde had created many years ago and it was re-introduced at this meeting. It will be at all future Heartland Contests for the club.
