UPS (United Parcel Service) Car Show for The United Way

The KC Slammers were asked by the UPS to set up a display table at their annual United Way Fund Raiser Car Show held in Lenexa, Kansas, on Saturday, August 4, 2007. It was hot (about 100 degrees) but we had a nice shade tent provided fo us. It was our pleasure to have been a part of this worthy effort.

The UPS people at the distribution hub located in Lenexa, Kansas (a 'burb of Kansas City, MO) invited the KC Slammers to set up a display table of scale models. Their annual car show is a fund raiser for The United Way in the KC Metro area. The Slammers were proud to have helped out for this worthy event.
