Lumber Buggy

1/48th scale white metal model; Mackenzie Irons Works kit. Also, a scratchbuilt, 1/2"-scale version Buggy built partly from the 1/48th scale plans.

    Outstanding model, the result of outstanding modeling!  As you may know by now, these "buggies" were known in the lumber industry as "straddle carriers".

      Good drafting supply stores used to carry it, but those stores are few and far between anymore....but you can find it on-line.  "Dick Blick" art supplies might have it, or do a search for "Drafting Supplies".
