so I am back from my hiatus...and I have to say A LOT has gone on since the last update. I am 4 1/2 months pregnant...yay!!! And I feel like a big horse.....and it's another boy!!! So here we go again. These are a few pics I have taken during the course of the hide-a-way...hope you enjoy.

So I finally decided to straighten my hair and keep it a while. I think the longest was about a week or so before I missed my natural hair. I have heard so many great things about the Chi products so I bought the shampoo and the silk infusion. I conditioned with hair mayonaise and flat ironed with a flat iron. It turned out pretty well for me, because I get tired after a while and just do a sorry job at the end. I must say that the Chi products were worth buying and I will definately invest again when I have some moola to spare.

I finally took some pictures after a severe mishap with my camera. It's holding on for dear life, but I managed to get some photos to share.

In December I decided to cut three inches of my hair :(. It was much needed and I FOUND out very quickly that heat and my hair was a major no no. You live and you learn. My ends were straight while the rest of my hair was curly. It was a battle that I could not take any longer. But I am happy that I am free of my headache and vow to NEVER apply heat again because I lost a LOT of growth and it set me back BIG TIME!!!

In July I decided after a long internal debate to loc my hair. I have been struggling with the decision and felt that this was the time for me.

I have jumped in to the photography field so here are some pics I have snapped as a newly loc's woman. I have found that I LOVED my loosely natural hair but it was too much maintence for me. It was just a personal and spiritual decision that I loc'd.
