Our first day in DC was only half a day due to travel. Our hotel was in Old Town Alexandria, so we did some shopping and wandering around.

On Saturday we attended the wedding of our friends John and Kelly in Falls Church. Afterwards we toured Mount Vernon before going to the reception at the Mount Vernon Inn.

Before we left for home, we spent the morning at the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles Airport.
