These images are for those of you who will forever share a bond with Mr. Horton. On a HOT,sunny, June afternoon, I spent a few hours in Talpa,Texas. The folks I met were genuine, and willing to share...the kind of folks you'd expect in a tiny Texas town. My thanks to the lady at the post office, although I didn;t get her name, she was a great help. Thanks also to Nora Fletcher, at the Talpa Immanuel Baptist Church, she showed me where Mickey was raised, and the house he lived in next to his mom until his death.
