The flood on the Rio Grande, and the small town of San Ygnacio were alot to shoot for one afternoon, but a chance meeting with Ernesto Uribe, seemed to put everything in prospective. He is a decendent of the founder of San Ygnacio,Jesus Trevino. Ernesto explained the story behind the fort, the sundial ,the flood of '54, and how the asphalt got spread all over the historical buildings, and the folks there were unable to get resolution. My thanks to Ernesto, I found Him to be, not only interesting , but a gentlemen as well. There are a few shots of the flood taken between Laredo and San Ygnacio, and a few near the bridge in Laredo,taken from the American Legion Hall. Thanks to the "Guys" there. And a few shots around "La Posada", a great place to stay.
