5. I DO NOT need to weigh my hair down with oil and grease
6. WATER is my best friend
7. I love coloring my hair and it's okay!
8. I love the way my hair feels in it's natural state!
9. Dreds of all kinds are SEXY!
10. I can dress up without combing my hair!!
11. My hair CAN grow long!
12. I LOVE MY SISTERLOCKS!

Thanks to the amazing generousity of my family I was Sisterlocked December 3rd 2005! I absolutely love them and it has been such an amazing journey so far! I am in love with my natural hair...and love that I can finally say that! I have combined the 1st 5 weeks in this album.

I have had the desire for the perfect red for a loooong time...so here is my quest!!!

I have combines albums 7 & 8 together for space sake! Not to much changes to show but I like to keep each month documented!

Hey all! My babies are 9 months old today. It has been a most enjoyable trip to date, and I am looking forward to my 1 year mark in 3 months!
This month brings some change...come on in and take a look!

It is Month 10 and I am going for my latch this week. So I just wanted to document before latch pictures and after. Not much has changed from last month to this one...and I am starting to get antsy to see some more growth. After all, my 1 year mark is in 2 months!!

Not much change has occured. I am playing with creating curls or waves. I haven't figured out how to use the rollers yet...but I am gonna work on it.

This is my daughter's hair journey! She has been locking now for 5 months and she is sooo proud of herself (I am really proud too!).

This is my youngest daughter's natural hair folder. She is not yet locked. She is still deciding on when, how...and if she wants to lock. I hope she does...but I am not pushing her to at all.

Welcome to my daughter Shell's Journey. We searched a few albums with different locking processes, and decided on braid locks. (Shout out to Toy! Your album cementing her decision by being very informative!) I braided Shell's hair over 2 days, in very small braids and will maintain by latching.
I am happy to say 2 of my children are locked...1 more to go!! HURRAY!!!
