Lucky arrives at Crimson looking for Lulu, but finds Maxie instead. She offers her condolences and t ...more hanks Lucky for donating Jake's organs. As an organ recipient, that means the world to her. Lucky nods and mentions he was about to marry Siobhan when Elizabeth called with the news that Jake had been hit. Spinelli arrives. He gives Lucky his condolences and turns to thank Maxie for the offer to review his book, "The Secret Life of Damien Spinelli" for Crimson. Maxie insists Spinelli doesn't have to thank her; she is sure she will love the book and just because they are no longer together doesn't mean she doesn't believe in him. She will always love him as a friend. Spinelli admits she was the inspiration for the book and leaves.
At the hospital Carly watches Jason read a travel book to Josslyn, just like he used to with Michael. Jason looks up and sees Carly; is everything working out with Shawn? Carly sings Shawn's praises. However she knows Jason is worried about Franco, but feels it's too soon after losing Jake to go after that artistic psycho.
Abby pulls away from Michael when he admits he has a gun because he intends to protect her from Brandon. Naturally Abby is scared as she reminds Michael this violates his parole and he could get sent back to prison. She reminds Michael that Brandon is not Carter; he can't try to avenge what Carter did to him by going after Brandon! Michael doesn't listen to Abby's voice of reason and heads to Jason's place where he and Jason have an honest discussion about Jason's hopes for Michael. He wants him to live his life, just like he wanted Jake to live his. Jake isn't here, but Michael is. Basically Jason reminds Michael that living is a gift—and that Michael almost died, so make the most of it. Meanwhile Abby answers her door to Brandon, who thanks her for dropping the charges by beating her up. Michael is horrified to see Abby's bruises when he returns. He races out and catches up with Brandon in an alley where he points his gun at him.
Sam returns to Jason's place where Jason admits he made a mistake giving Jake up. He wasn't keeping Jake any safer by staying away and missed out on getting to know his son. People die for random reasons and losing Jake has made Jason realize he needs to love people while he has the chance. Sam goes into Jason's arms as he thinks about his little boy.
Lulu walks into the Haunted Star as Dante asks Luke if he drank on the night he hit Jake. Lulu defends her dad and Luke admits that he had a few drinks, but was not impaired. Dante realizes there is no way to prove this and says there will be no charges filed. As Dante and Lulu leave, Luke pours a drink. Lulu sighs; Dad, don't. It will only make things worse. Luke refuses, saying he won't be something he isn't. However, later he seems to be thinking about Lulu's words because he dumps out his drink and replaces it with water. Lucky arrives and mistakes the water for vodka. He dryly notes that Luke is changing up his drink preferences since he drank Scotch on the night he hit Jake.
After Brenda blows out her candles, she admits that she thinks of her son often. Sonny offers to have some PI's research to see if her son really did die. Brenda thinks about it and agrees. Sonny then gives her a present, which is a rose gold necklace. Robin arrives, relieved to see that Sonny remembered Brenda's birthday. She tells Brenda about Jake's memorial as Sonny goes to visit Carly at the hospital. Robin announces that Jake's death made her realize that life is so short and precious. She and Patrick have reconciled and she vows to enjoy every minute with her daughter and husband—or at least appreciate them.
Sonny arrives at the hospital and tells Carly how happy he is to see Josslyn thriving. He also gets why Carly rejected Brenda's attempts at a truce; he knows she isn't ready right now. Carly thanks Sonny for his understanding and Sonny leaves.
Lulu and Dante head to Kelly's where she wishes she could explain to Lucky what Luke is doing. Dante tries to tell Lulu that she can't solve her family's problems, despite her efforts. He reminds her there are things out of her control and says he is here for her. -

At Jason's penthouse Jason tells Sam that he hopes he got through to Michael. It would kill him if M ...more ichael chooses a life in the mob. Suddenly there is a knock at the door; it's Abby, who quickly tells Jason that Michael has a gun and went after Brandon!
Meanwhile Brandon continues to taunt Michael as Michael points his gun at him. Brandon thinks that Abby dropped the charges because she wants him back. If Michael shoots Brandon, Abby will never forgive him. Brandon is right about that, but not for the reasons he believes. Michael is about to pull the trigger when Jason arrives. Jason orders Brandon to scram and drags Michael back to the penthouse where he gives Michael a lecture. Michael should have come to him with this! Michael argues that Brandon is his problem, not Jason's. Jason is livid that Michael stole a gun from him and is unable to convince Michael that going after Brandon is a very bad idea. After Michael storms out, Jason turns to Sam and vows to do whatever it takes to give Michael a future. If that means handling all Michael's problems, so be it. Meanwhile Michael returns to Abby's place where she desperately begs him to leave Brandon alone. She doesn't want to lose Michael! Unfortunately she might. Dante arrives with some grim news. Brandon's body has been found -- and he was shot to death.
Earlier Dante encourages Lulu to seek grief counseling, but Lulu bristles at the suggestion. She appreciates what he is trying to do, but is fine. She heads to the Haunted Star where she finds Luke and Lucky in a face off. Lucky knows Luke skipped Jake's memorial service not out of respect for him and Elizabeth, but because he felt too guilty. Luke confirms, still adamant that whether he was drinking or not, it doesn't change the fact that Luke hit Jake and Jake died. Lulu arrives and begs her brother and dad to make amends. They already lost Jake; they can't lose each other, too! Lucky admits he wants to forgive Luke, but can only do that if Luke admits his drinking led to Jake's death. Luke insists he was not driving drunk. When Lucky asks Luke to stop drinking, Luke says he can't promise something he doesn't intend to keep. Disgusted Lucky storms out as Lulu proclaims she loves their dad no matter what. Later Luke is alone as he dumps out his water and replaces it with Scotch. Little does he know Lucky is watching nearby ...
At the hospital Lisa volunteers to cover the ER rotation. Patrick hesitantly agrees as Robin arrives. She has a great idea to make their reconciliation stick: marriage counseling! Robin and Patrick head to Kelly's where they talk about counseling; Patrick is on board with the idea, but is afraid it will make Robin realize that he is not enough for her. Robin pooh-pooh's that idea and they seal their agreement with a kiss.
Lisa arrives at Johnny's to announce she is over Patrick -- and to sleep with Johnny. Afterwards she says she needs to return to the hospital, but Johnny catches her spying on Robin and Patrick outside of Kelly's. Busted -

At Kelly's Patrick and Robin continue to discuss marriage counseling as Johnny busts Lisa outside. S ...more he is spying on them, isn't she? Lisa covers, saying she came to get take-out, but everyone and their grandma know that Lisa is lying. Johnny gets an impish look on his face and pulls Lisa inside. Let's go say hi! Naturally Robin and Patrick are annoyed, especially when Johnny reminds them that they mistakenly believed Lisa was the one who hit and killed Jake. Robin and Patrick head outside where Robin learns there is an opening tonight in their therapist's schedule. They could have their first session now! Patrick agrees and they return to the hospital. Kristina arrives and happily greets Lisa, which makes Johnny suspicious. Overprotective Johnny asks what Lisa wants with Kristina, but Lisa answers that they had a nice chat earlier. No biggie. Later Patrick and Robin return to Kelly's where they both agree their first therapy session wasn't as bad as they thought it would be. Patrick wants to go out and celebrate, but Robin remembers they don't have a sitter for tonight. She sees Kristina and asks if she would like to watch Emma tonight. As Kristina enthusiastically accepts, we see Lisa watching and listening nearby. Later Kristina is at the Drake house while Emma sleeps upstairs. She opens the door to Lisa, who greets her with a big smile. Uh-oh!
Dante tells Abby and Michael that Brandon was found with two bullet wounds to the head. Did Michael do it? Abby quickly interjects, saying Michael was with her all afternoon, but Dante puts two and two together when he sees the bruises on her face. He deduces that Michael went after Brandon when he learned Brandon beat Abby again. Dante begs Michael to tell him the truth, but Michael refuses. Frustrated Dante leaves, but warns Abby that giving Michael a fake alibi will only make things worse. Alone Michael and Abby agree that she shouldn't lie for him. Michael can't help but ask how Abby feels about Brandon's death. Abby admits she is relieved; Brandon was a horrible person. When Michael suggests they go over their alibis, Abby says she can't. She wasn't home.
Dante arrives at Johnny's place to ask him some questions about Brandon's death. Apparently he was found behind one of Johnny's strip clubs. Johnny pretends he has no idea who Brandon is, but later goes to see Abby and Michael to offer his help. Abby and Michael are uncomfortable, so Johnny suggests they think about it. He could easily persuade his staff at the club to cover for them if need be. After Johnny leaves, Michael is shocked when Abby admits she is considering Johnny's offer. He realizes Abby never asked him if he killed Brandon -- is that because she already knows who did?
Dante arrives at Jason's penthouse to ask him some questions about Brandon, but only Sam is home. Dante senses that Sam thinks Jason killed Brandon, but can't get Sam to admit that. Sam asks Dante to leave; Jason has enough on his place right now. His son just died, remember?
At Jason's penthouse Sam asks Spinelli why he isn't celebrating his book's release. Spinelli admits it feels wrong in light of Jake's recent death. Maxie arrives with good news: she just scheduled a book signing for Spinelli! With Sam's encouragement Spinelli agrees to the event. Meanwhile Diane asks Sonny to sign a waiver to allow her and Spinelli to use his name in the book. Sonny refuses as well as Brenda, but when Brenda learns Spinelli is the book's co-author, she changes her tune. Later Brenda and Sonny are writing thank you cards when Sonny worries that he is imposing a life on Brenda that she may not want. Brenda assures Sonny that she is happy, but is interrupted by a knock at the door. It's Suzanne with a little boy. Suzanne introduces him to Brenda; this is your son! (Say what now?) -

Brenda and Sonny are in shock as Suzanne enters with a little boy. She calls him Lucian and he is Br ...more enda's son. Sonny quickly gets friendly with the kid and sends him to the kitchen for a snack so he and Brenda can grill Suzanne. Suzanne explains that she had Brenda drugged and induced labor in Africa. She then placed Lucian with adoptive parents and told Brenda he died to protect him from Theo. Sonny remains skeptical and tells Suzanne he plans to have her story checked. Suzanne encourages Sonny to do so. She asks Brenda if she wants her son; if not, she would be more than happy to take him. Theo is dead and no longer a threat. Unfortunately Theo also had Lucian's adoptive parents killed. Brenda insists that Lucian is not going anywhere and immediately bonds with the little boy. Later she reads him a story as Sonny watches with apprehension in his eyes.
At the Drake house Lisa explains she came over to give Kristina a book about how to cope with the stress of college applications. Kristina is touched, but how did Lisa know she was here? Lisa lies, saying a waitress at Kelly's told her. They chat some more and Lisa moves to go, dropping one of her earrings on the way out.
Patrick and Robin are getting dessert at Kelly's when they bump into Johnny. Johnny gets in Patrick's face about Lisa; he believes that he's the one to blame for Lisa's craziness, not Robin. Patrick thinks Johnny is only interested in Lisa because she reminds him of his nutty sister Claudia. Johnny's face darkens as he warns Patrick to never say Claudia's name again. Patrick orders Johnny to stay away from Robin and Emma. Later as they arrive home Robin sees that Johnny's words bother Patrick. She assures Patrick that she doesn't believe that Patrick is the root of Lisa's craziness and heads upstairs to check on Emma. Patrick finds Lisa's earring and asks Kristina about it. Kristina realizes it's Lisa, but tells Patrick it is one of hers; it must've fallen out of her backpack. After Kristina leaves, Robin comes to get Patrick with a sexy smile on her face and leads him upstairs…
Lisa arrives at Johnny's place for a booty call, but they are interrupted by a phone call. Johnny heads upstairs to take it as Lisa lets herself out. We learn that it's Anthony on the phone as Johnny tells his dad that he may have some leverage on Sonny.
At Abby's apartment Abby explains she hasn't asked Michael if he killed Brandon because she figures that if he did it, he would have told her already. Michael proclaims that he did not, but thinks Jason did.
Meanwhile Dante accuses Jason of killing Brandon to protect Michael. Jason orders Dante to talk to Diane as Dante says either Michael or Jason killed Brandon. The hit was sloppy and if it was Jason, Jason was probably in such a hurry to do it before Michael did. If Jason did kill Brandon, Dante is part grateful to get that creep out of Michael's life, but that doesn't make murder okay. Still he feels he has no choice but to prove that Jason did kill Brandon. After Dante leaves Jason admits that this is setting a bad example for Michael. Just when he thought he had a breakthrough with Michael, this happens…
Dante meets with Abby at Kelly's who swears that Michael didn't kill Brandon. Dante believes her and realizes this means Jason probably did. Abby asks Dante to check for other potential suspects; Jason getting busted would crush Michael. She adds that Johnny intends to cooperate if that helps. Dante becomes suspicious; when did Abby talk to Johnny? Abby explains Johnny came to offer his help which makes Dante wonder what Johnny's angle is. Meanwhile Michael arrives to Jason's where he learns that Jason didn't kill Brandon. Surprised Jason admits he thought Michael did. So the big question is who killed Brandon and can Jason and Michael find the culprit before the murder gets pinned on one of them? -

Sonny finds Brenda playing with Lucian on the living room floor. Sonny wants to make waffles for Luc ...more ian, but Brenda wants to take him to Kelly's. Sonny shakes his head; that's not happening. He sets Lucian up with Max to play remote controlled cars and braces himself to deal with Brenda's wrath. Brenda argues that Sonny undermined her as Sonny reminds her that they have to be mindful of security matters, which means shifting security personnel around and not leaving the house until he does. Brenda gets upset; her son will not be raised by bodyguards like Aleksander was! Sonny reminds her that the best thing Brenda can do is get to know her son.
Lucky is on the phone with Mac as he insists that he is ready to return to work. Nikolas tells Lucky that throwing himself into his work won't lessen the pain of losing Jake. That is the last thing Lucky wants to hear as he admits to think about the past with Jake hurts just as the thought of the future without Jake hurts. Cameron, Aidan and Spencer will grow up, go to college, etc., but there will always be an empty space where Jake is supposed to be. Lucky needs to work or he may dive headfirst into a bottle and never come out. Nikolas makes Lucky to promise to call him if Lucky feels the need to drink.
Carly arrives at Jason's penthouse, happy that Jason called her. Jason doesn't want to talk about Jake or Josslyn, but Carly insists that Jason needs to mourn Jake. Jason knows that, but there are more pressing matters at hand. He tells Carly about Brandon's death and has to prove Michael's innocence by finding the real killer.
Luke wakes up from a hangover to find Jake playing with his toy motorcycle on the table. He happily greets the little boy, but Jake disappears. Later Luke shaves and gets ready to leave when Ethan arrives. Where the hell has Ethan been? In Vegas with Maya! (Anyone else find it suspect that they didn't rush back when they heard about Jake?) Luke is surprised when Ethan doesn't give him any grief over Luke's drinking and hitting Jake. Ethan watches Luke drink and even joins him as he offers to listen if Luke wants to talk. Luke swears to Ethan that he didn't see Jake or feel any impact or hear anything but his music. He also swears he was not drunk, even though Lucky doesn't believe him. Luke waxes poetic about his charmed life, but realizes that his luck ran out the night he hit Jake.
Jason arrives at Sonny's house where Sonny talks about security detail and tells him about Lucian. Jason looks skeptical as Sonny admits he is also suspicious. The problem is Brenda has fallen in love with Lucian.
Carly visits Lucky to tell him that Josslyn is doing great and to thank him for donating Jake's kidney to Josslyn. She admits that although they are cousins, she has never done anything for him, yet he came through for her. If there is anything Lucky needs, please come to her. Lucky apologizes for jumping to the wrong conclusions about Carly when he learned she might've hit Jake. Carly gently suggests that reaching out to Luke might lesson Lucky's pain, so Lucky invites Sonny over where he asks Sonny to watch Luke for him.
Later Carly stops by Sonny's place where she finds Brenda with Lucian. She is so shocked when Brenda admits that Lucian is her son that you could knock her over with a feather. When Carly says that Max and Milo are great with kids, Brenda snaps that they are not nannies. Carly thinks Brenda should thank her for exposing her secret at the wedding otherwise Sonny would've been blindsided at the wedding! Brenda glares; she'll tell Sonny that Carly stopped by.
Sam returns to Jason's where she updates him on her search for Brandon's killer. She too is shocked when Jason tells her that Lucian is alive. Jason is determined to keep Lucian safe the way that he couldn't keep Jake safe.
Luke plays roulette alone and chuckles when 13 pops up. He grabs the ball and throws it on the ground along with his glass in frustration. He listens to some music as he remembers driving on the night he hit Jake. Luke pushes some stuff off of the bar and grabs a few bottles of liquor. One by one Luke grabs them and hurls them against the wall as Nikolas walks in.

At Sonny's house Carly and Brenda continue their fight as Carly gleefully points out all the ways in ...more which Brenda is sure to fail as a mother. Indignant Brenda retorts that Carly is a pretty bad mother; she uses her kids to control Sonny and Jax and to manipulate everyone around her. Carly can't change the past, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love her kids. Brenda is too self-absorbed to even see what her son will need.
At Jason's penthouse Jason tells Sam about Sonny's visit. Sonny and Brenda are both trying to make adjustments to having Lucian. Sonny was looking for advice and Jason couldn't give it. Jason commends Carly's parenting skills; no matter what, her children have always felt loved. He wishes he could've done that for Jake. Sam assures Jason that he did right by Jake by giving him to Lucky and Elizabeth. Jake knew he was loved.
Sonny is apologetic as he gently tells Lucky that the best person to help Luke is not him, but Lucky. Lucky fears Luke will self-destruct, but he is too angry to reach out to his dad right now. Sonny theorizes that Lucky is punishing himself by refusing to forgive Luke, thereby withholding the consolation he sorely needs. Lucky ponders that for a moment, but shakes his head. Nope, he is simply angry and can't stop thinking of Luke taking a drink, driving and hitting Jake.
Nikolas watches silently as Luke trashes the Haunted Star. When Luke is finished, Nikolas speaks up. That didn't help, did it? Nikolas begins to clean up, but Luke stops him. The shattered glass is the perfect metaphor for his broken family. Nikolas reminds Luke that their family is not broken—yet. If Lucky could forgive him for sleeping with Elizabeth, then Lucky can surely forgive Luke for accidentally killing Jake. But first Luke needs to forgive himself.
Later Sonny arrives at the Haunted Star to tell Luke about his conversation with Lucky. He encourages Luke to reach out to Lucky, but Luke insists on keeping his distance. He needs to respect his son's anger, etc. Sonny knows Luke doesn't feel he deserves forgiveness, but warns him that it could come anyway.
Siobhan arrives at Lucky's where she finds him on the phone with the police station. She offers to leave, but Lucky reminds her that they were supposed to get married. So why not do it today? Siobhan declines; Lucky has more pressing matters than her silly green card. She knows this is just another way for Lucky to avoid grieving. Lucky coolly explains that he feels the pain and loss of Jake all of the time and leaves. Worried Siobhan heads to the Haunted Star where she furiously orders Luke to stop drinking and go help Lucky. When Luke insists he can't, Siobhan asks if Luke is prepared to watch Lucky take unnecessary risks in his job because he is hurting? What if Lucky gets hurt—or dies? What then? Luke doesn't know, but later we see his answer: dumping gasoline all over the bar and holding a lighter…
Carly returns to the hospital where Shawn is guarding Josslyn. She vents about Brenda and how she needs to help Jason mourn for Jake. Shawn advises Carly to let Jason grieve on his own schedule, but Carly refuses to listen.
Brenda finds Jason reviewing security detail at Sonny's. She assumes Sonny told Jason about Lucian. Jason is happy for Brenda and even talks a little bit about Jake before he leaves. Later Sonny returns home and Brenda vehemently declares she wants Carly banned from their house. Sonny gently but firmly reminds Brenda that his children—and their mothers—are always welcome at his place. Brenda realizes she is being immature and commends Sonny on always putting his children first. She hopes to do that with Lucian. Sonny takes this opportunity to address a potentially sore subject with his wife; they only have Suzanne's word that Lucian is Brenda's son. And they both know Suzanne is a lying sack of flour. Maybe Brenda should consider a DNA test.
Lucky arrives at Jason's place to question him about Brandon's death. Jason gets defensive, yelling he can't talk to Lucky about this! It's a conflict of interest! Lucky shuts his mouth and leaves; someone else will be questioning Jason.
Carly meets with Sam at Kelly's where she insists that Sam is the best person to help Jason. Sam notes the look in Carly's eye. What does Carly have in mind? Carly thinks that the only way Jason can heal is for Sam to have a baby with Jason!

Lulu wakes up from a nightmare where she angrily confronts Luke about his drinking. In the dream she ...more screams that Luke loves alcohol more than anyone in his life as Luke smugly downs a shot in front of her. Dante returns home and startles Lulu, who sits up on the couch. She confesses she had a nightmare; it was strange because she doesn't blame Jake's accident on Luke's drinking, yet she had a dream about it. Dante encourages Lulu to sort through her anger and Lulu admits she is not angry at Luke, but at the universe for allowing this to happen to her family.
Lucky enters the Haunted Star as Luke prepares to torch it. He encourages his dad to continue; he "loves" fireworks! Lucky wonders if Luke is planning to burn the place as a literal metaphor for burning bridges with Tracy (who owns the place), Ethan (who works there) and himself (he wants Lucky to bust him for arson). Lucky reminds Luke that burning the Haunted Star won't solve anything, let alone bring Jake back. He throws Luke's old advice back at him: A wise man said you can't outrun the past. Later Lulu arrives and begins to clean the place up, despite Luke's protests.
At Kelly's Sam gasps when Carly urges her to get pregnant. Before Sam can say no, Carly tells Sam about this new procedure…Sam interrupts. She looked into that and the procedure only gives her a 50/50 shot at carrying to full-term. Carly then shocks Sam—and crosses the line of appropriate--by offering to carry Sam and Jason's baby. Jason needs to be a daddy, ASAP! When Sam tries to convince Carly that Jason may not want this, Carly insists that sometimes Jason needs to be told what he needs. And someone needs to tell Carly to back off!
Later Kristina arrives upset. Yale waitlisted her, but she has to let her other choices (Vassar, Wesleyan, Port Charles University) know soon! What if Yale doesn't accept her in time? Or at all? Sam urges Kristina to trust her gut and that she will get a good education at any of her schools, but Kristina gives Sam a look that clearly says that her big sister doesn't understand the gravity of this situation at all!
Patrick is less than pleased to see Lisa arrive at Kelly's. Is she stalking him again? Lisa assures him that she is over him; she is here to see Johnny. Meanwhile Robin bumps into Johnny on the street and gets into yet another argument over Lisa. When Johnny defends Lisa, Robin asks if Johnny and Lisa are together. She needs to know if Lisa is genuinely over Patrick. We don't hear Johnny's answer because the next time we see Johnny, he is at Kelly's with Lisa. Lisa can't stop talking about Patrick, which ends date night for her and Johnny. However when Lisa sees Kristina, she goes to talk to her about college stuff.
Patrick arrives home with Chinese take-out, explaining that he asked to meet her at home instead of Kelly's because Lisa was there. Robin hopes that there is something real between Johnny and Lisa because maybe a relationship is what Lisa needs to pull her out of her obsession with Patrick. Later Patrick surprises Robin with tickets to a concert. Robin is thrilled, but knows their regular sitter can't watch Emma that night, so maybe they can ask Kristina to baby-sit.
Michael arrives at Jason's penthouse upset that Ronnie brought Abby into the station for questioning in Brandon's death. He wants Jason to come with him to help Abby, but Jason orders him to stay put. He'll send Diane. If Michael goes to the station and loses his cool, he will give Ronnie a reason to arrest him. And Ronnie isn't really after Michael, but Jason! So Michael goes to Dante to ask for his help. Dante promises to do what he can and later goes to Jason with the news that some high-powered person is behind Brandon and his pricey lawyer. Who would do this and why?
Lucky arrives at Jason's to talk about Jake. He insists that Jake's death is his fault; he knew Luke was an alcoholic for years and didn't do anything about it. Jake was conceived because Lucky was addicted to pain pills, causing Elizabeth to run straight into Jason's arms. And now Jake is dead because Lucky couldn't stop his father from drinking. Jason responds to this the same way we would—with shocked eyes and an open mouth. Huh? Later Lucky goes to see his sister at Dante's place where they compare their visits to Luke.
Brook Lynn finds Nikolas in Wyndemere's study where he pretty much dumps her. Right now his family is a mess and he needs to focus on them—and on their burgeoning relationship. Brook Lynn understands; she gathers her dignity and says she plans to tour with this Latin band. So it's farewell, sweet prince—for now.
Johnny arrives at the Haunted Star with a proposition for Luke: He wants to buy back into the Haunted Star. Luke scoffs. He doesn't think so! -

At the hospital Michael gets upset when Carly suggests he stay away from Abby until Brandon's killer ...more is found. Michael refuses, saying that if Sonny or Jason were in trouble, Carly wouldn't ask them to do this. Carly reminds Michael that he is still on parole and she is merely looking out for him, but that doesn't stop Michael from storming off.
Dante goes to see Jason to talk about Brandon's murder, but finds Spinelli instead. When Spinelli suggests that Dante is looking at the wrong suspect (Jason), Dante reminds Spinelli that the murder weapon is same kind of gun that Jason uses. He doesn't believe Jason killed Brandon, but Jason is still the top suspect. Diane arrives and Dante asks if she knows Brandon's pricey attorney, Angela Dwyer, and who could have arranged that for Brandon. Diane recognizes the name and says that Angela would work for anyone given the right amount of money, including the Zacharra's. Dante absorbs this bit of information and leaves. Diane turns to Spinelli to talk about a sequel for their book; the sales are quite good. Does he have any more cases to share? Spinelli shakes his head. All the cases fit for publication have already been used.
Patrick and Robin bump into Johnny and Lisa on the street. Patrick can't help but note the coincidence and hopes Lisa isn't using Johnny to plot her next move against Robin. After Patrick and Robin leave, Johnny warns Lisa that Patrick better not be right. Patrick and Robin return home where Patrick hopes Johnny doesn't bankroll Lisa's next crazy act, but Robin feels that Johnny will help turn Lisa's life around.
Kristina sees Brenda arrive at Kelly's with Lucian and Max. As Max and Lucian play, Brenda tells Kristina about Lucian. Kristina becomes envious when Brenda mentions how wonderful Sonny has been to Lucian. After Brenda and Lucian leave, Kristina bursts into tears. Lisa sees her and comforts the girl, adding that Kristina must be under a lot of stress. She offers to give Kristina some herbal supplements, which Kristina gratefully accepts. Little does she know Lisa plans to switch the supplements with narcotics!
Ethan arrives at Kelly's and seeks some advice from Kristina about Luke. Kristina advises him to be there for Luke because Luke can talk to him in a way that he can't with Lulu or Lucky. Kristina then shares her upset over Lucian; Sonny is treating him like a son and it hurts her because Sonny was largely absent during her childhood. Ethan assures Kristina that doesn't mean Sonny loves her any less and makes Kristina laugh. Lisa returns with the promised herbal supplements and sees that Kristina is feeling better. Kristina admits that time with Ethan was just what she needed.
Jax arrives to check on Josslyn. Carly tells him about Michael's troubles and Lucian, which naturally bothers Jax. Later when Alexis visits, Jax admits that something about the Lucian situation bothers him -- so much that he dumps Josslyn on Alexis and heads to Sonny's place.
Brenda, Lucian and Max return home where Brenda introduces Lucian to a very surprised Diane. Diane holds her head; she feels a migraine coming on! Later Jax arrives to give Brenda his congratulations.
Michael bumps into Johnny on the street, who reiterates that if there is anything Michael or Abby need, to call him. Michael thanks Johnny and heads to Abby's place. Later Dante bumps into Johnny and Lisa on the street and tells Johnny he just learned something interesting. Brandon and Johnny have the same lawyer. Could Johnny have paid his lawyer to help Brandon prosecute Michael, thus create a situation where Michael and Abby would be in Johnny's debt? Dante imagines that would make Sonny mighty upset, which always seems to be Johnny's end game.
Carly goes to see Abby to ask her to leave Michael alone -- just until Brandon's killer is found. She fears Michael will violate his parole and be sent back to prison. It's clear that Abby shares the same fear. Michael is upset to find his mom with Abby, but after Carly leaves, Abby admits that Carly has a valid point. Desperate Michael reminds Abby how isolated and alone he felt after Carter raped him; he didn't feel whole until Abby came along. Abby vows to never leave Michael alone and they hug.
Carly returns to the hospital to find Alexis sitting with Josslyn. Carly correctly guesses that Jax went to see Brenda and Alexis notices that Carly doesn't seem upset, but resigned. Carly confirms and sadly tells Alexis that she knows Jax needs to resolve his feelings for Brenda, but it's not her problem anymore. -

Max is telling Sonny what a great kid Lucian is when Diane arrives. Sonny wants Diane to ensure that ...more Brenda has full custody of Lucian, but he avoids any mention of his legal ties to the child. Diane knows Sonny doesn't want any more kids and actually dares Sonny to say it. Naturally Sonny can't because guess what—he doesn't want any more kids!
Olivia brings some comfort food to Dante, who admits he believes Johnny is trying to use Michael to wage a mob war against Sonny via framing Michael for Brandon's death. Olivia urges Dante to tell Sonny—not as a cop, but as a brother and a son. So Dante goes to Sonny, where he is shocked to learn that Lucian is alive. Sonny admits that he wants to support Brenda, but he wasn't ready to be a "father" again. He can barely deal with the kids he has! Dante takes this opportunity to tell Sonny about Michael, Brandon's death and Johnny's possible involvement. Naturally Sonny doesn't take this news very well and vows to shut Johnny down if he is behind Brandon's death.
Michael arrives at Johnny's penthouse; he would like to accept Johnny's offer of help. Can he question the folks at Vaughn's to see if they saw anything the night Brandon died? Johnny shakes his head; he can't let Michael do that. It will only make him look guilty. The best thing for Michael to do is lay low. Michael realizes Johnny is right and leaves.
Elizabeth is looking at the results of Aidan's paternity test when Nikolas arrives. She announces she has something to talk to him about…She admits it's been hard to move on, but knows she needs to for Aidan and Cameron. Elizabeth would like to help Lucky and Nikolas admits this tragedy has made him and Lucky closer than ever. He vows to do whatever it takes to support Lucky. Elizabeth looks uneasy, obviously thinking of Aidan's paternity test.
At Kelly's Lulu thanks Maxie for covering for her at work. Maxie inquires about Lulu and her family. Lulu sighs; she doesn't know how to help Lucky. Maybe she should ask Elizabeth. Maxie snaps, saying that would be the worst idea ever. Later Maxie confides in Matt how much she has always despised Elizabeth, yet she feels for her during this time. In a rare moment of compassion Maxie delivers flowers to Elizabeth's house, but finds Aidan's paternity test instead. She gasps when she sees that Lucky is Aidan's father, not Nikolas!
Olivia meets with Steve at Kelly's where she pretty much orders him to go on a picnic date with her. She will bring the food; he supplies the music. Steve realizes Olivia is trying to do something nice for him and accepts, but he has to do something at the hospital first. Steve returns to the hospital where he finds Elizabeth ready to return to work. He stops her, saying it's too soon. In fact he talked with their sister Sarah. Both he and Sarah think that it would be good for Elizabeth to get out of town and stay with Sarah. Elizabeth agrees, but she has to do something first…
Dante returns home where Lulu is leaving a message for Lucky. Lulu updates him on the most recent events with Luke and Lucky. Dante shares his conversation with Sonny and his suspicions about Johnny framing Michael for Brandon's murder. Lulu doubts that; Johnny is messed up, but Johnny wouldn't hurt Michael. Dante wonders if there is another angle to this; what is Johnny got Brandon an expensive lawyer in order to get Brandon released so he could kill Brandon. Maybe Johnny is protecting Michael…
Michael visits Sonny where Sonny wants to talk about Abby and Brandon. Michael swears he didn't do it and gets frustrated when Sonny reveals that Johnny's helpful attitude may be a means to frame Michael—and to get to Sonny. Sonny advises Michael to refuse what Johnny is selling. Later Michael returns to Dante's loft where he angrily reminds Dante that he is old enough to make his own decisions. Why did Dante go to Dad about Johnny? Dante orders Michael to stop talking to Johnny, but Michael refuses to sit around and do nothing.
Olivia bumps into Johnny outside of Kelly's and warns him that he better not be messing with Michael. If he is, he better stop. She knows Johnny is up to something, but she refuses to believe he would do anything to intentionally hurt Michael. Later Johnny is on the phone with his dad Anthony when Sonny arrives. Sonny confronts Johnny; is he trying to frame Michael for Brandon's death? -

At the hospital Steve tries to convince Elizabeth to visit their sister Sarah in California. Elizabe ...more th agrees, but doesn't want to leave until she makes things right with Lucky. When Steve urges Elizabeth to put herself first and give herself time to grieve, Elizabeth says she can't. She blames herself for Jake's death and doesn't blame Lucky for staying away.
At Elizabeth's house Maxie stares at Aidan's paternity results which say that Lucky is Aidan's biological father, not Nikolas. Startled Maxie turns when Lucky enters. She quickly hides the test as she explains to Lucky that she let herself in to give Elizabeth some flowers. Lucky is glad he ran into Maxie and reiterates that Jake died because he enabled his father's alcoholism. Nikolas arrives as Maxie tries to convince Lucky that Jake's death was not his fault. She quickly exits, leaving Nikolas to try to console Lucky, who believes he was the only one who could've stopped Luke from drinking, especially on the night of Jake's death.
Steve visits Lucky out of concern for Elizabeth. He urges Lucky to reach out to Elizabeth, explaining that Elizabeth blames herself for Jake's death. She didn't see him run out the front door. Surprised Lucky insists that Jake's death is his fault; he enabled his dad's drinking all these years. Steve says that Lucky is no more to blame than Elizabeth and asks Lucky to tell Elizabeth that he doesn't blame her. It would make a world of difference to her. Lucky agrees and leaves to find her.
Meanwhile Elizabeth returns home to find Nikolas there. She furtively searches for the Aidan's DNA test and is surprised it's not where she left it. When Elizabeth learns that Maxie stopped by, Elizabeth calls her to come back. Maxie does and immediately gets to the point. She is sorry for Elizabeth's loss, but Lucky is grieving too -- and Elizabeth is lying to him about Aidan!
Tracy finds Luke drinking again at his office in the Haunted Star. She tries to talk to him about re-opening the Haunted Star and his failed attempt to burn it down. Tracy convinces Luke to eat lunch with her; she'll drive! When Luke insists that he drive, Tracy grabs something off of the desk (we're not sure what it is; it looks like a black sock) and throws it at Luke. He reaches out to catch it, but misses. Tracy looks at Luke, clearly implying that Luke's reflexes have been hindered by his drinking. Uh, him driving is not a good idea. Luke tries to make excuses. He throws it back at Tracy, who catches it easily. Tracy then leaves to visit Lucky. When she hears that both Lucky and Elizabeth blame themselves for Jake's death, she snorts. That is ridiculous. Lucky is not to blame and neither is Elizabeth. She urges Lucky to reach out to Luke; Luke is sinking fast! Without Lucky's help, Luke will self-destruct.
Meanwhile Steve stops by Luke's office to ask him to pull himself together so that Lucky can stop worrying about him and help Elizabeth. Right now Lucky is the only one who can reach her.
At Dante's loft Michael is angry at Dante for telling Sonny about Brandon's death. Dante insists he is only trying to help, but Michael refuses to sit back and do nothing especially when he, Jason and Abby are the main suspects. He feels that the legal system is too flawed to help him and wants to accept Johnny's offer to help find Brandon's real killer. Alarmed Dante warns Michael to stay away from Johnny; doesn't Michael realize that Johnny is merely using him to get to Sonny? Michael refuses to believe that and leaves.
Johnny opens his door to Sonny who asks him point blank if Johnny arranged for Brandon's release only to have him murdered in order to frame Michael. Johnny denies it; he blames Sonny for Claudia's death, not Michael, so his grudge is against Sonny, not his son. Sonny dares Johnny to prove that by leaving Michael alone. Later Michael arrives and asks Johnny if he was behind Brandon's murder. Johnny again denies it and reiterates his offer to help Michael; he swears there is nothing in it for him, explaining that he knows what it is like to grow up in the mob. When Michael declines, Johnny reminds him it's an open offer, so Michael can come to him anytime.
Jason returns home to find Sam reading pamphlets about fertility procedures, etc. Sam reveals that Carly offered to be their surrogate and that a child is the only way Jason can heal from Jake's death. Jason thinks that is crazy. Both he and Sam agree that the only way to deal with Jake's death is to mourn, not replace him with another baby. Later Sonny arrives to talk to Jason about Johnny. Jason doesn't believe that Johnny is trying to frame Michael; he thinks Johnny is trying to bring Michael into the business to irk Sonny. And the difficult part is how to stop Michael without looking like a hypocrite?
Later Michael arrives and tells Jason about his talk with Johnny. Jason warns Michael to stay away from Johnny; he thinks Johnny is trying to recruit Michael and he can't let that happen. Defiant Michael announces that he would accept a job from Johnny if Johnny offered. Upset Jason implores Michael to reconsider. The mob may seem great now, but it will significantly cut down on opportunities in Michael's future. Jason cites Jake as an example; he couldn't raise his son because of his life in the mob.
Dante visits Sonny to talk about Michael. Sonny asks Dante to arrest Johnny or do something to shut him down so that Michael won't be tempted to work for Johnny. Dante refuses, saying that Sonny has to deal with the fact that Michael isn't going to live the life that Sonny wants. -

At Elizabeth's house Maxie returns Aidan's paternity test results to Elizabeth. She explains she too ...more k them because she didn't want Nikolas to see it and urges Elizabeth to tell Lucky that he is Aidan's real father. Elizabeth is reluctant, but agrees when Maxie threatens to tell Lucky if Elizabeth doesn't.
At Lucky's apartment Tracy continues to urge Lucky to forgive Luke before Luke self-destructs. Lucky sadly admits he can't -- at least not yet. He makes it clear that he doesn't blame anyone but himself for Luke's drinking. If Luke is determined to drink himself into a stupor, then Lucky won't stop him. Later Maxie arrives with flowers to give her condolences again to Lucky. She shares how devastated she was when Georgie died and how Spinelli helped her embrace life again.
Sam arrives to give her condolences to Elizabeth. She offers to leave if Elizabeth doesn't want to see her, but Elizabeth invites her inside. The women have an honest talk where Sam apologizes for being so awful to Elizabeth when Jake was born. Elizabeth insists she was the mean one, so both women agree it was a little bit of everyone's fault. As Sam turns to go, Elizabeth holds out Jake's toy motorcycle. Could she give this to Jason please? Sam thanks Elizabeth, knowing that Jason will certainly cherish it.
Elizabeth grabs Aidan's paternity test and goes to Lucky's apartment where she sees Nikolas -- and overhears Lucky admit to his brother that he doesn't know what he would do without him, especially now. Elizabeth looks like a rabbit caught in a trap; it's clear she is scared that Aidan's true paternity will stir up bad feelings between the brothers again.
At Jason's penthouse Jason continues to lecture Michael; if Michael accepts a job with Johnny, it will ruin his future! When Michael points out Jason's hypocrisy, Jason admits that had he known his joining the mob would have hurt so many people (most of all his family) and prevented him from raising Jake, he wouldn't have chosen to work for Sonny. Michael appreciates Jason's perspective, but insists he has to make his own decisions. He never wants to feel powerless like he did when he was in prison and Carter raped him. Emotional Jason realizes he can't make Michael do what he wants. He finally reveals how Alan tried to reach out to him, but Jason pretty much disowned him when Jason went to work for Sonny. Jason vows to never give up Michael no matter what choices Michael makes. Michael is sorry, but he may have to go against Jason's wishes if it is the right thing for him. Later Sam returns home to give Jake's toy motorcycle to Jason. Jason tells her about his painful talk with Michael and admits that he regrets giving Jake up. He looks at Sam and admits that all the reasons he didn't want another child are gone. Hmm, is this Jason's way of asking Sam to have a baby with him?
At the Haunted Star Steve continues to ask Luke to pull himself together so that Lucky can stop worrying about Luke and focus on helping Elizabeth. Luke doesn't know how to do that and Steve doesn't seem to have any answers. Later Tracy arrives and curtly notes that Luke is in a lot of trouble -- and everyone knows it.
Sonny is looking at a photo of Michael when Brenda, Lucian and Suzanne enter. They chat happily about their day together and it appears Brenda has forgiven Suzanne enough to become friends again. Brenda goes to put Lucian down for a nap. When she returns she finds Sonny alone. Apparently he gave Suzanne the third degree, which offended the former Mrs. Balkan enough to storm out. Brenda defends Suzanne as Sonny points out yet again that all they have is Suzanne's word that Lucian's Brenda's child. How can they trust Suzanne, especially after everything that has happened? Brenda replies by asking Sonny why he seems so distant around Lucian. She accuses him of not wanting her son around, which of course is partly true. Sonny assures Brenda he is getting to know the boy and wants to protect him, but nothing ever comes with a 100 percent guarantee.
Later Sonny goes to Suzanne's hotel room where he reminds her that he doesn't trust her. Suzanne declares she would happily take Lucian and live far away if only Brenda would let her.
Michael stops by Sonny's house looking for Sonny, but finds Brenda instead. Brenda asks him what it was like growing up with Sonny. Michael praises his dad, but admits that life as a mob prince was hard. He is glad Morgan and Josslyn live with Jax because he wouldn't wish his childhood on anyone. -

At the Metro Court Sonny demands to know what Suzanne's agenda is. Suzanne insists she brought Lucia ...more n to Brenda to make peace, but Sonny wonders what is in it for Suzanne. Why would she make friends with her son's killer? (Good question!)
At Sonny's house Michael tells Brenda what it was like growing up with Sonny. Sure, it was strange having guards around 24/7, but Sonny was a good dad. Brenda wonders if things would've been better if Carly was a better partner to Sonny. Michael defends his mom; the stuff that happened to him wasn't because of Carly and Sonny. He says that Carly always put her kids first. Touched Brenda hopes that Lucian will talk about her like that someday.
Sonny returns home where he tells Brenda about his visit to Suzanne. Brenda fumes when Sonny speculates that Suzanne has an agenda. She accuses Sonny of not wanting Lucian around; if that is the case, she will take her son and leave! Sonny assures Brenda that he loves her and that means Lucian, too. He will do his best to protect Lucian. Brenda admits she just wants Sonny to love her son as much as she does! Meanwhile Suzanne makes a cryptic call to someone. She asks how "he" is and to tell "him" that "his grandma" will be home for good soon.
At Jason's penthouse Jason tells Sam how much he regrets giving Jake up. Bad things happen and they are out of people's control. He should have made the most of the time he had with Jake. Sam reminds Jason that he wanted Jake to have a normal life. That was love. Sam continues to comfort Jason, but eventually has to meet with a client and leaves. Later Michael arrives and sees Sam's fertility reconstruction pamphlet. Are Sam and Jason going to have a baby? Jason admits that Carly would love that. Michael wants to know what Jason thinks. Jason says it was wonderful helping to raise Michael. Michael thinks Jason would be a great dad -- and he would know! Sam returns home where she finds Jason looking at the fertility stuff. She begins to apologize, but Jason stops her. They've been talking so much lately and he knows she said she wasn't interested, but has anything changed? Sam admits a part of her wishes Carly was right and that she could fix everything by having a baby.
Elizabeth arrives at Lucky's place just in time to overhear Lucky gush how grateful he is to Nikolas for his support right now. Elizabeth tries to tell the men about Aidan's true paternity, but chickens out. She asks Lucky to forgive her instead for not seeing Jake run out the door. Lucky says all they can do is forgive what they can and deal with the rest. He apologizes for not being around as Elizabeth says she needs to go. Nikolas moves toward Elizabeth; he'll take her home. Later Siobhan arrives and takes Lucky for a hike to cheer him up. When they return, Lucky admits the hike was what he needed and kisses Siobhan.
Maxie arrives at Elizabeth's where she sees Nikolas and assumes Elizabeth told Nikolas about Aidan's true paternity. Maxie, realizing her gaffe, covers for Elizabeth. Nikolas leaves to spend time with Aidan as Elizabeth admits to Maxie that she couldn't tell Lucky and Nikolas right now -- not when they are leaning on each other! Later Nikolas returns to tell Elizabeth to have some spa time; he has the boys. Touched Elizabeth says Nikolas is a good dad, who replies that Spencer and Aidan are the best things that ever happened to him. As Elizabeth goes to get them some wine, Nikolas finds Aidan's paternity test. When Elizabeth returns, she freezes. She can explain ... Nikolas cuts her off. He holds the envelope up. This says it all.
Maxie heads straight home where she confides in Matt about Aidan's paternity results. Lucky deserves to know the truth! Matt urges Maxie to keep quiet; this is Elizabeth's secret to tell. -

At Lucky's apartment Lucky kisses Siobhan and begins to unbutton her cardigan when her purse falls t ...more o the floor -- and plane tickets fall out. Lucky picks them up; is Siobhan planning to leave without saying good-bye? Siobhan admits she no longer has a reason to stay in Port Charles now that Theo is dead. Lucky quickly admits he wants Siobhan to stay, but Siobhan immediately lists all the reasons why she shouldn't: It would selfish of her to expect Lucky to go through with a green card marriage, especially since Jake just died. And Elizabeth needs Lucky as well as Luke! However Lucky is determined to quiet Siobhan's fears by telling her that he needs her. He knows Siobhan is skittish because they are getting close and he urges her to stop running.
At the hospital Robin arrives for therapy. She finds Patrick reviewing a patient's chart with Lisa. Patrick quickly excuses himself and joins his wife, noting the irony of the situation. Together Robin and Patrick leave for their appointment.
At Jason's penthouse Sam admits that she wonders if having a baby would fix everything. If they do decide to have a baby -- and that's a big if -- their lives would change forever. Are they ready for that? Jason doesn't want Sam to deny herself a child because she thinks that is what Jason wants. And Sam doesn't want Jason to feel pressured to have a baby. Before Jason can reply, Carly arrives. She sees the tears in Sam's eyes and immediately assumes that Sam and Jason are going to have a baby. Sam becomes overwhelmed -- and slightly annoyed -- by Carly and leaves. Jason shuts Carly up by telling her that Johnny seems to want to recruit Michael in order to give him leverage over Sonny. Carly quickly abandons her baby dreams for Jason and Sam and runs out to give Johnny a piece of her mind. There is no way in hell her son will becomes a mobster.
Johnny visits his father Anthony in jail and has some bad news. The guards wouldn't allow him to give Anthony the requested photos of roses. After Anthony vents about his roses, Anthony asks for an update on Operation Undermine Sonny. Johnny admits that he has been helping Michael out to create some trust. He asks if Anthony is the mastermind behind hiring Angela Dwyer, getting Brandon released and his subsequent murder. Anthony denies it, but is impressed with Johnny's progress. Later, we learn that Anthony lied to Johnny as he calls Angela Dwyer, making it very clear that he is the person who hired her as Brandon's lawyer.
Carly arrives at Johnny's penthouse, furious. If Johnny intends to recruit Michael, he has another thing coming! Johnny is honest when he says he has not extended a job offer to Michael, but if Michael wants a job, Johnny wouldn't say no. He relates to Michael, having also grown up in the mob. Carly seethes, determined to stop Michael from becoming like Sonny.
Sam arrives at the hospital for a follow-up appointment with Patrick. She notices Patrick seems distracted, which prompts Patrick to admit he just finished a marriage counseling session. Patrick declares Sam in great health. Sam asks if she is healthy enough to have a baby. Patrick encourages her to do so; having Emma is the best thing to happen to him and Robin. Sam returns to Jason's where Jason sits her down. What does Sam really want? Sam admits she declined the fertility reconstruction procedure because she thought Jason was conflicted. Jason says that Jake's death taught him that they have to make the most of their life and that means taking advantage of opportunities like this. With tears in her eyes, Sam announces she wants to take a chance; she wants to have the fertility procedure! It looks like Jason and Sam are going to have a baby -- or at least try.
Maxie arrives at the Drake/Scorpio house where Robin is having a little crisis. She confides to Maxie that she realized during her therapy session that she may not be enough for Patrick. Patrick shouldn't have to work this hard to stay married to her! Maxie thinks that is nonsense as Robin struggles with her insecurity. Later Patrick returns home where he and Robin talk about their session. Robin bursts into tears and Patrick makes a few jokes to lighten the mood. Later as they snuggle on the couch, Patrick tells Robin that their usual babysitter, Stephanie, got an internship in New York and won't be able to watch Emma anymore. He suggests they ask Kristina and Robin agrees.
Back at the hospital Lisa pockets some hydrocodone and puts the pills into a bottle labeled "Herbal Stress Remedy." She gives it to Kristina who arrives at the hospital looking for Lisa. Kristina admits she is under a lot of pressure and Lisa happily gives her the bottle of mislabeled pills.
What has Kristina so upset? After ditching Taylor, she asks Ethan to be her prom date. Ethan is flattered, but feels it's highly inappropriate for Kristina to attend the prom with a married man -- not to mention Ethan is way too old to be hanging out with a bunch of teenagers.
Elizabeth freezes when she returns to her living room with some wine for herself and Nikolas. She sees Aidan's paternity test results in Nikolas's hands and tries to explain, but Nikolas cuts her off. He assumes that Jake's death stirred up unresolved feelings in Elizabeth about Aidan's paternity and she wanted to look at the old test. Elizabeth realizes that Nikolas didn't open the envelope, therefore he has no idea that he is holding the new results that say Lucky is Aidan's father. Instead of telling Nikolas the truth, she plays along with him and admits that she still loves Lucky. Nikolas accepts this rather gracefully and leaves.

Kristina, Dante, Morgan and Michael arrive at Kelly's. Molly sent them a text; what is going on? Mol ...more ly arrives and announces what she has to say is important to their family. We don't hear what is so crucial, but Kristina, Morgan and Michael agree to some plan. When Dante balks, the kids gang up on him to convince him to help. Dante sighs; who can resist those cute little faces?
Abby arrives at the mob restaurant where Sonny makes pleasant small talk -- and asks Abby to help him keep Michael away from Johnny. When Abby admits that Johnny has been nice to her and Michael, Sonny becomes troubled. He doesn't want Michael to work for Johnny; he wants better for his son. How about Sonny offer Abby a job at the restaurant and she gives him updates on Michael? As Abby smartly declines, Michael arrives. They return to Abby's apartment where Abby reluctantly tells him about her conversation with Sonny. Naturally Michael feels this is a sign of Sonny's lack of faith, not concern.
At the hospital Carly and Jax celebrate Josslyn's impending release. Carly knows Jax is considering entering a prestigious yacht race. Now that Josslyn is better, why doesn't Jax enter and take Michael? Jax is immediately suspicious, so Carly explains that she needs to get Michael away from Johnny before Johnny offers Michael a job. Furious Jax points out that this wouldn't even be an issue if Carly had cut Sonny and Jason out of their life when he asked.
Carly heads to the mob restaurant where she asks Sonny to stay out of the Michael/Johnny situation. If he talks to Michael, Michael will do the opposite of what Sonny wants because he will feel the need to prove something. Sonny disagrees and insists on dealing with Michael his way.
At the hospital Robin asks Patrick for his consult on a patient. He doesn't want to tell Robin that he thinks her medical protocol is a waste of time, but Robin insists that he cut the crap. This isn't marriage counseling! Patrick is finally honest with Robin and they playfully spar. They also agree that hiring Kristina to watch Emma is a great idea. Later Kristina arrives and Robin and Patrick offer her a baby-sitting job as Lisa listens happily.
Alexis approaches Lisa and to her surprise, thanks Lisa for helping Kristina with Kristina's anxiety over the college application process. Alexis then goes to visit Josslyn where she startles Jax. Jax vents about Carly and asks Alexis for her help in securing full custody for Josslyn.
Shawn arrives at Pentonville to visit Anthony, who offers Shawn a job. Shawn declines, saying he had enough of the crazy with Theo. (Hee.) Later Johnny arrives and Anthony asks him to talk to the warden for him; convince him to let Anthony have a garden! Anthony also urges Johnny to win Michael's trust -- don't forget to follow up by getting leverage on the boy! Johnny then heads home where he finds Lisa waiting for him with champagne. He eyes her; what is going on? Lisa announces she is done with Patrick and Robin. And she would like to thank Johnny with some kisses and then some.
Molly bumps into Shawn at Kelly's where they warmly greet each other with a hug. Molly asks if she can interview Shawn about his experience in Afghanistan for a school project. When Shawn declines, Molly realizes how uncomfortable he is and urges him to talk to a therapist. Dante arrives and later warns Molly against her new friend. Shawn heads to the hospital to guard Josslyn where Jax attempts to fire him, but Shawn reminds him that he works for Jason. Jax insists that he has the resources to pay for his own protection; he wants Shawn gone today!
Sonny leaves his office to find his kids, niece and the mothers of his children with confetti, noisemakers and a cake. Surprise and happy birthday! Hm, where is Brenda? Well, she is at home with her new little boy. Molly upsets everyone when she explains they couldn't have the party at the house because Brenda didn't want them to overwhelm Lucian. Awkward! -

Carly storms into Sonny's house to yell at Brenda; how dare she tell the kids that they couldn't hol ...more d Sonny's birthday party at the house because Lucian will be overwhelmed! Why is Brenda trying to keep Sonny from his children? Brenda insists it's not like that; the kids are welcome any time, but she felt a party wouldn't be in Lucian's best interest. Anyway, Carly is one to talk; she is the one who has been keeping Morgan from Sonny! Carly warns Brenda that if she makes Sonny's children feel unwelcome, she will regret it.
Jason returns home to find Sam searching for her keys -- which are on the coffee table. Jason correctly guesses that Sam is nervous about her OBGYN appointment with Kelly. He offers to go with Sam, but Sam assures Jason she is fine, despite her fear that this fertility procedure won't work. What if Kelly deems her not viable for the procedure? When Sam arrives for her appointment, she asks Kelly to be totally honest with her. If there is bad news, don't sugarcoat it, okay? Kelly agrees and begins Sam's exam. Later Carly finds Sam crying at Kelly's. Carly immediately assumes that Sam was given bad news and apologizes for pushing this baby thing on her and Jason.
At the police station Dante apologizes to Lulu; he won't be able to grab coffee with her. He just spent his break celebrating Sonny's birthday and worrying that Michael will join the mob, courtesy of Johnny. Lulu argues that Johnny may be trying to help Michael, as perverse as that can be. Dante believes if that is the case, then Michael needs all the help he can get since evidence clearly points to Michael as Brandon's murderer. Later Ronnie overhears Dante leaving a message for Angela Dwyer. Ronnie thinks Dante shouldn't bother questioning Brandon's former lawyer because he has new evidence that proves without a doubt that Michael killed Brandon!
Abby is studying at Kelly's when Johnny enters to offer his attorney's services. Michael sees and gets protective. Johnny explains he is only trying to help. Michael and Abby thank Johnny, believing he is sincere. After Johnny leaves, Abby wonders if Sonny is right about Johnny having an agenda. Michael shuts her down, refusing to believe that Johnny is using him as a pawn in his war against Sonny. Worried Abby shares her concern that Michael will end up like Johnny -- too angry to see what is in front of him and too closed off. Michael thanks Abby for her concern, but he is determined to do what he thinks is right for him and if that means working for Johnny to make the most of his opportunities, then so be it.
Ethan arrives to Johnny's place looking for work. With Maya in Philadelphia with her family and all the stuff with Luke and Lucky, he is restless. Johnny smiles; there is a job Ethan can do. He needs him to train a possible new hire: Michael!
Jax emerges from Josslyn's hospital room to find Shawn still in the hallway holding the three million dollar check Jax had given him to scram. Shawn rips the check up, determined to protect Josslyn from Franco as Carly arrives. Carly quickly reminds Jax how easily Franco has been able to get close to Josslyn, but Jax reminds Carly that Shawn almost kidnapped Brenda on her wedding day. Touché!
Jax visits Brenda to thank her for the doll she sent Josslyn. When Brenda proposes a future play date for Lucian and Josslyn, Jax says he would love that, just not at Sonny's house. He doesn't want her near Sonny. Offended Brenda tries to persuade Jax into believing that Sonny is a good father and that she and Lucian are safe with him, but it doesn't do any good.
Diane arrives at Jason's penthouse with some bad news. Neither Michael nor Abby or Jason have alibis for the time of Brandon's murder! Just tell her: who, hypothetically speaking, killed Brandon? Jason says it wasn't him, but unfortunately he doesn't have anyone who can vouch for his whereabouts that night. Diane wonders if Abby did it; maybe Michael is protecting her.
Lulu pays her former boyfriend Johnny a visit. She wants to make sure Johnny isn't playing Michael to get revenge on Sonny. Johnny assures Lulu that his grudge isn't with Michael, but if Michael were to ask for a job, Johnny wouldn't deny him. Lulu reminds Johnny of the time he admitted the mob world was a dead end world. She implores Johnny to rethink his decisions; please don't bring Michael into the mob business!
Dante tells Jason that Ronnie has cell phone footage of Michael holding a gun on Brandon and Jason arriving to stop him. So tell him exactly what happened that night! Meanwhile Michael arrives at the police station with Diane where Ronnie says he has proof Michael killed Brandon. Diane argues this evidence is circumstantial at best, but Ronnie urges Michael to confess by saying if he is found guilty, Dante could be accused of covering for his brother. So save everyone a lot of trouble -- and preserve Dante's career -- by confessing to murder! -

At the police station Ronnie continues to pressure Michael into confessing to the murder of Brandon. ...more He tells Michael that he could save them all a lot of time if Michael just confesses. Jason and Dante arrive as Diane points out that the cell phone footage of Michael and Brandon doesn't actually show Michael holding a gun; it's filmed from the back, so there is no clear shot of Michael's face. Dante orders Michael's release, which causes Ronnie to warn him to stay out of this. Dante could be accused of covering for Michael, and thus lose his badge.
Jason brings Michael to his place where he asks Michael yet again if he shot Brandon to protect Abby. Michael swears he didn't, nor is he covering for Abby. Annoyed Michael turns to leave. He reiterates that Abby didn't kill Brandon and he is not taking the fall to protect her. Michael reminds Jason that he is only doing what Jason would do and storms out.
Carly finds Sam crying at Kelly's and assumes that Sam learned she can't have children. Sam tries her eyes and explains her tears are those of happiness and surprise. Her test results show that she has more than a 50 percent chance of carrying a child to full term! Carly is thrilled and gushes how Sam having a baby will help Jason to heal, blah, blah. Sam returns to Jason's penthouse where Jason is haunted by Michael's words. She announces that she can have a baby, but is Jason having second thoughts?
Dante pays Abby a not so nice visit where he basically accuses her of murdering Brandon and letting Michael take the fall to protect her. Insulted Abby denies doing such a thing, but Dante remains convinced that there is more that Abby is not saying. Dante vows to protect Michael; he will not let his brother go down for something he did not do! Later Michael returns and he compare notes with Abby. Ronnie arrives, interrupting them. Guess what he has? An arrest warrant!
Sonny arrives home to find Jax telling Brenda that Lucian will never be safe living in Sonny's world. Jax cites what happened to Michael; he hopes Lucian never has to go through what his step-son has gone through. Offended Sonny rips into Jax for upsetting Brenda, who kicks Jax's out. Sonny then heads to Pentonville to visit Anthony where he issues a warning: Don't encourage Johnny to recruit Michael or there will be help to pay! Anthony feigns ignorance as he plays with his prized plant named "Claudia," but that doesn't stop Sonny from destroying Anthony's plant when Anthony insults him. Later Dante arrives, per Sonny's summons and Sonny asks him to get rid of any evidence that may tie Michael to Brandon's murder. When Dante refuses, Sonny reminds him that it was because of Dante's devotion to the system that landed Michael in jail in the first place. Is Dante ready to let that happen again?
Johnny listens as Lulu continues to beg him to leave Michael out of his war with Sonny. Johnny defends his interest in Michael saying both he and Michael grew up in the mob world. They don't know anything else, so why wouldn't Johnny offer a job to Michael? Lulu appeals to Johnny's softer side; she knows that deep inside, he is simply a lost soul. It may be too late for Johnny, but it's not too late for Michael! Later Lulu arrives to Carly at Kelly's where she tells her cousin about her disappointing talk with Johnny. After Lulu leaves, Carly sits for a while lost in thought. Jax arrives and he tells Carly about his conversation with Brenda. Carly is sad; she can't disagree with Jax. No kid is really safe in Sonny's world.
Back at Sonny's house Brenda becomes irate when Diane arrives to talk to Sonny about Michael, but refuses to divulge any information to Brenda. She further incurs Brenda's wrath when she says that Carly has a right to know, but Brenda does not. Later Diane tells Sonny about Brenda's upset and Sonny assures that he will handle her. Right now he needs Diane to tell him what happened at the police station. When Diane tells Sonny about the footage of Michael and Brandon, Sonny vows to make sure Michael does not get arrested.
Johnny arrives home to find his dad making himself comfortable in the penthouse. Anthony announces he got out of prison -- and he is home to stay!
Kristina finds Ethan sitting dejectedly at the docks. Ethan reveals that Maya went home to Philadelphia for a family emergency, but she refused to tell Ethan what it was. She also didn't want Ethan to accompany her. Kristina hides her delight that Maya left town as Ethan wonders if Maya didn't tell her family that she got married. Kristina thinks that it would be horrible if Maya was ashamed of him; he is all kinds of awesome! However she guesses that the Ward's would be upset to learn if Maya got drunk and married. Alexis would kill her if she ever did that. Ethan smiles; he will make sure Kristina never gets herself in that situation.

Dante is outraged when Sonny orders him to tamper with evidence and make sure Michael is not found g ...more uilty of Brandon's murder. Dante reminds Sonny that the judge threw Michael in jail to teach Sonny a lesson. Sonny doesn't care; Dante needs to protect Michael and make sure he doesn't return to prison. Dante refuses to throw his career away and accuses Sonny of teaching Michael that he is above the law. He believes Michael is innocent and intends to prove it.
Sam excitedly tells Jason that her chances of carrying a baby to full-term are great. Her face falls when Jason says he is happy for her and wants her to have a baby, but is she sure she wants one with him? Sam makes it clear she would choose Jason over her dream of having a family some day. Jason worries about messing up another kid's life; look at what happened to Michael! Sam assures Jason that while the mob business may be corrupt, he is not. He is the one who taught Michael right from wrong! Jason turns to Sam and sadly says he is afraid of what might happen if he gives into his grief for Jake. Basically it sounds like Jason believes having a child is not right thing to do right now.
Both Abby and Michael are shocked when Ronnie arrests Abby for Brandon's murder. Abby urges Michael to stay calm and goes meekly with Ronnie. Alone Michael smashes a couple of things upset. Later Michael waits with Abby at the police station as Jason arrives. Ronnie taunts Abby until Michael almost loses it. Fortunately Jason stops him and warns Michael not to give Ronnie a reason to arrest him. Dante arrives and demands an explanation from Ronnie, who admits he was hoping to pin this whole thing on Jason, not Dante's brother or Abby. Abby urges Michael to go home, but Michael doesn't want her to spend the night in jail. Michael confronts Dante, who says there isn't much he can do to help Abby. Michael's response? To punch Dante! Michael accuses Dante of being just as corrupt as Ronnie and declares -- much to Jason and Abby's dismay -- that he killed Brandon, not Abby!
Lucky bumps into Maxie at Kelly's where Maxie invites him to join her. She babbles about how the universe rewards people with something good after something bad happens. Maxie thinks Lucky needs some cheering up; maybe he should spend time with Elizabeth and their son. Elizabeth arrives and panics. Maxie urges the former lovers to talk. Lucky is glad he bumped into Elizabeth; he wants to talk to her about Siobhan. Elizabeth knows that if she had let Lucky take the boys to his wedding with Siobhan, Jake would still be alive. Lucky wants Elizabeth to be okay with the fact that he may marry Siobhan to keep her in the country. He admits he will always care about her. Elizabeth wants Lucky to be happy and wishes him the best.
Siobhan finds Luke drinking in his Haunted Star office. She tries once again to jolt him out of his drunken stupor. Luke tries to convince Siobhan to take Lucky to Ireland with her; the kindest thing anyone can do for Lucky right now is to help him break free of his past. Later Siobhan tries to clean up Luke's office as Nikolas arrives. She vents to Nikolas about Luke and hopes that Nikolas can smack some sense into Luke.
Sam is surprised when Luke arrives looking for Jason and a fight. He angrily tells Sam that Jason has no right to judge him when Jason wasn't a father to Jake. He makes himself comfortable as he continues his rant about Jason. If Jason wants to avenge Jake's death, then he will be at the Haunted Star waiting. Luke returns to his office where he finds Nikolas waiting for him. Nikolas orders Luke to shape up and help Lucky, but as long as Luke refuses to admit he has a problem, he isn't helping anyone, including himself. Nikolas leaves and Luke brings out a gun. He slowly unloads it and throws it onto the desk.
Kristina arrives at Sonny's house, surprised that he asked her to come over. He tells her it's okay for her to come over anytime, but Kristina becomes uncomfortable since Brenda doesn't want the kids around. Sonny assures Kristina that his kids are his heart and a man can't be separate from his heart. (Aw!) Later Sam arrives to tell Sonny about Luke's visit. Concerned Sonny visits Luke where he asks Luke what he plans to do with his gun.
Maxie visits Elizabeth to know if Elizabeth told Lucky that he is Aidan's father. Elizabeth admits she couldn't because that would mean Lucky wouldn't go through with his wedding to Siobhan. He would lose her because of Elizabeth. Maxie can't believe it; isn't that what Elizabeth wants? Elizabeth refuses to stand in the way of Lucky's happiness. If that means not telling him the truth, then so be it! Nikolas arrives and eyes Maxie with Elizabeth. Is he interrupting something? -

Lucky arrives at Jason's penthouse where Sam tells him about Luke's drunken rant about Jason. She fe ...more ars that Jason will snap if Luke pushes him hard enough, so she went to seek Sonny's help. Lucky doubts Sonny will be able to rein Luke in and asks Sam to downplay Luke's message to Jason -- for everyone's sake.
Meanwhile Sonny picks up the empty gun on Luke's desk and guesses that Luke wants to goad Jason into killing him. It's not enough to push Lucky away, is it? Luke wants to ultimately punish himself by tricking Jason into shooting him. Sonny pleads with Luke to stop the madness and seek forgiveness from Lucky, but Luke brushes Sonny's advice aside.
Sonny later goes to Lucky's apartment to tell him about his talk with Luke. Lucky admits he is more scared for his dad than angry. He realizes he needs to do something, so he enlists Nikolas's help in rounding up the family; Lucky wants to stage an intervention for Luke! Meanwhile Luke stuffs some money, alcohol, cigars and his gun into a duffel bag. Is he leaving town?
Nikolas enters Elizabeth's house where he realizes he has interrupted an intense conversation between Maxie and Elizabeth. Maxie urges Elizabeth to "tell Nikolas," meaning tell Nikolas that he is not Aidan's father -- Lucky is. However Elizabeth wimps out and tells Nikolas about Lucky's impending green card marriage to Siobhan. Nikolas feels that is insensitive to Lucky, but Elizabeth defends her ex-love, saying he deserves to be happy. After Nikolas leaves Maxie guesses that Elizabeth is punishing herself for Jake's death by allowing Siobhan to be with Lucky instead of telling Lucky the truth about Aidan's paternity -- and opening the door to a possible Liz and Lucky reunion.
At the police station Michael lies, saying he killed Brandon in order to protect Abby. Dante knows Michael is lying and declares they need to pursue the investigation based on evidence, not Michael's flimsy confession. Ronnie stares at Jason; the only thing that could top Michael's confession would be one from Jason. Jason refuses to take the bait and asks Dante for a moment alone with Abby. Dante agrees, much to Ronnie's disgust. Jason and Abby go into the interrogation room where Jason asks her point blank if she killed Brandon. Abby passionately swears she did not and Jason believes her. Later Michael gets a moment alone with Abby where both he and Abby promise each other that they can get through this together. Later Dante sits down with Abby, giving her something to drink. Abby thinks Dante is trying to trick her into a confession, but Dante assures her that he is on her side. He just wants to find the real killer! Abby swears she didn't kill Brandon, which leads Dante to wonder if this is a set-up and if so, who would want to frame Abby for Brandon's murder?
Jason also wonders the same thing. He brings Michael home where he tells Sam what happened. Sam offers her PI help as Jason realizes they need to figure out who would benefit from framing Abby.
Johnny returns home where he finds Anthony gushing over the ability to order plants online. Johnny immediately confronts Anthony; he knows he framed Abby for Brandon's murder! How dare Anthony mess with Johnny's best-laid plans? Anthony reminds Johnny that they both have the same goal: to get Michael under their thumb, thus gaining leverage over Sonny. Anthony crows that he can get results much faster than Johnny. He hints that he has another larger agenda that Johnny will learn in due time. -

Lulu and Ethan arrive at Lucky's apartment where Lucky announces he wants to hold an intervention fo ...more r Luke. Ethan is on board, but Lulu is not. She doesn't believe this will help Luke.
Tracy bursts into Luke's office to take him to lunch, but curses under her breath when she realizes he is gone. Nikolas arrives, not surprised that Luke is gone. He tells Tracy that Lucky wants to stage an intervention, but Tracy thinks it's too late. They head to Lucky's where Lucky and Lulu are knee-deep in an argument about Luke. Lulu says that addiction is Lucky's problem, not Luke's, and storms out.
Elizabeth finds Luke outside of her house. She asks why he was standing where Jake got hit. Luke corrects her; she means where he hit Jake. Elizabeth tells Luke that Jake's death was an accident and asks him to forgive himself. However Luke can't help but relive that night. He thinks the best way he can help Lucky is to disappear. Luke then urges Elizabeth to allow Lucky to move on. Elizabeth nods; all she wants is for Lucky to be happy, but admits it's hard to let him go.
Ethan finds Kristina studying at Kelly's. He tells her about Lucky's idea to hold an intervention for Luke. Kristina assures him that he will be able to help Luke. After Ethan leaves, Kristina pops another of Lisa's pills, not realizing they are deadly drugs instead of herbal supplements.
Lulu runs into Luke's office to look for him. Tracy follows and says that Luke is gone, but Lucky is right to hold an intervention. She admits she was wrong to let Luke drink so much. Lulu insists that Lucky wants to make Luke's drinking into the scapegoat for Jake's death. She vents that she can't believe Ethan agreed to the intervention. Tracy says that if they do nothing, they could lose Luke. Lulu's face crumbles; if she admits that Luke is an alcoholic, then that means Jake died because of Luke's negligence.
Luke enters Jake's where Siobhan serves him a drink. He rambles about visiting far flung lands and a charming story of the time he lost Lucky in Istanbul, leaving the poor boy to make his way across the country alone in seven hours. Luke brags to Siobhan; see, no matter what Lucky will find his way. While Luke heads to the little boys' room, Siobhan calls Lucky. His dad is here!
At Lucky's apartment Lucky beats himself up for not helping Luke sooner. Nikolas urges Lucky to take a step back and listens sympathetically as Lucky worries that he may have lost Luke forever. When he gets call from Siobhan, he quickly calls Ethan to ask him to meet him at Jake's.
Ethan arrives at Jake's where he feigns surprise upon finding Luke there. Luke takes a sip of his drink, but soon passes out, slowly dropping his head onto the bar. Lucky pops out of his hiding place and Ethan looks at him. Is this how an intervention is supposed to begin? Lucky grabs his now unconscious dad. Yep, this is how you do a Spencer intervention!
Robin visits Brenda and listens as Brenda gushes about her long lost son Lucian. She complains that Sonny doesn't seem as smitten as she is and wonders how she can get them to bond. Robin suggests a DNA test; once Sonny learns that Lucian is really Brenda's, he will attempt to bond with the boy. Right now Sonny is probably keeping his distance because he doesn't trust Suzanne's word that Lucian is Brenda's. Brenda agrees and allows Robin to set up a DNA test, which she foolishly reveals to Suzanne when Suzanne comes over to visit.
At the hospital Patrick is impressed with something Lisa did for a patient and thanks her. Lisa becomes uncomfortable and reminds Patrick that she is over him. He is now just a guy she works with. Hm, Lisa talks a good game, but we all know she is still in love with Patrick. Later she finds Kristina at Kelly's where Kristina thanks her for the supplements. Lisa is glad, saying someday she might need a favor in return. Meanwhile Robin arrives at the hospital with good news for Patrick. Hey, Kristina agreed to babysit Emma for the month of May! Let's hope Kristina will stop taking those faux supplements by then. -

Thursday April 28, 2011 *Lukes Intervention* - Apr 28, 2011
-
Luke wakes up to find himself tied to a chair surrounded by Lucky, Lulu, Ethan, Tracy, Sonny, Carly, ...more Nikolas and Calvin Blaine, the interventionist. He looks around, groaning, as Sonny explains they are in one of his warehouses and this is an intervention. Family and friends grab chairs and sit in a circle around Luke as Lucky stands in front of his dad. Luke has a few choice words for them; did they really have to resort to this?! Why can't they accept that he killed a four-year-old boy?! He doesn't have a drinking problem!
Calvin announces that the family has written letters to Luke and will read them aloud, which Luke thinks is cowardly. Whatever happened to talking to him? Calvin urges Lulu to go first. As Lulu begins to read, we see memories of her and Luke projected onto the wall. Lulu talks about the time Luke supported her during her abortion. She has always idolized her father, but his alcoholism has taken over his life and it's not okay. She needs her dad in her life! Luke apologizes. He is sorry, but she is wrong.
Ethan's turn is next. He speaks tenderly of meeting Luke and of learning that Luke is his father. Ethan never thought drinking was a problem for Luke, but recently he has seen how drinking has started to control Luke instead of the other way around. Luke shakes his head, disappointed that Ethan would buy into the party line like this and offers to buy Ethan a drink when this is over. Upset Sonny interrupts. He doesn't want to be here any more than Luke does, but he is because he respects Luke. The room shifts and Luke is sitting across a table from Sonny drinking tea. Sonny cites what a great father Luke is and we see a flashback of the time Sonny went camping with Lucky and Luke -- and Lucky convinces Luke to pierce his ear. Sonny admits that watching Luke with Lucky made him want to be a dad.
Nikolas reminds Luke of the time he rode with him in the ambulance after Nikolas was shot. That gave Nikolas the first glimpse into the man Luke is. Nikolas appreciates Luke's wisdom, but the drinking is taking that away from him!
Carly sits in front of Luke and gives it to him straight because she knows that is his style. She says his alcoholism stops him from being who he is and asks him to fight back. Fix himself and get treatment! Luke replies by asking Carly how she would react if her family asked her to give up who she is. Carly says that they are asking him to give up the booze, not himself.
Finally it's Tracy's turn. She tells him that Luke is sick and needs help. Tracy puts her letter away and admits she has loved loving Luke. He is her unexpected miracle. However, Tracy does not accept his disease. Tracy knows Luke loves her, even when he isn't drunk. We see the moment Luke professed his love to her when they were locked in Helena's dungeon in Europe. She thinks alcohol is stealing Luke's soul. If Luke had cancer, she would expect him to seek treatment. So get help, Luke! She can't carry this marriage by herself. Bitter Luke says he won't change, not even for her. He turns in his chair to face Lucky. Your turn, Cowboy!
Lucky swallows as Luke snarls that he is thirsty. Let's get this over with! Lucky begins with the day he was born. That was the day, Luke became his hero. He learned so much from Luke: loyalty, resourcefulness, etc. He is the best dad which is why this is so hard. Lucky doesn't want to make Luke feel judged; he only wants his dad back. We see a moment of forgiveness between Luke and Lucky on the wall which happened sometime when Lucky was a teenager. Lucky knows how Luke feels, having to deal with his own addiction. He is asking Luke to fight; would he rather drink alone in an empty casino than spend Christmas with his family? Losing Jake was devastating and he needs his dad to help him through it. Luke looks into Lucky's eyes and says that they have to live with the fact that Luke ran down Jake; that Luke was not drunk; he does not have a disease; and he does not want to stay here another minute.
Calvin tells Luke that his kids are ready to drive him to Shadybrook for treatment. If he refuses, then there are consequences. Naturally Luke refuses and everyone cuts Luke out of their life. Luke asks to be released so Ethan cuts the duct tape off. Luke stands, adjust his clothes and hopes everyone enjoyed their creative writing assignment. He says they can all write him off as the unrepentant bastard who killed four-year-old Jake. Luke heads out to find a drink as his family and friends sit there in stunned silence. However he pauses in the hallway to hug himself, visibly shaken. -

Weary from Luke's intervention Sonny returns home to find Suzanne chatting happily with Brenda. Bren ...more da greets Sonny and tells him that she plans to have a DNA test to determine if Lucian is really her son. That way Sonny won't have an excuse to keep his distance. Sonny makes it clear that he will accept Lucian, but he will never trust Suzanne. Suzanne announces that she plans to resume work for ASEC soon, so she will be out of their hair. After she leaves, Brenda gets tearful and admits it hurts her that Sonny won't spend any time with Lucian. Sonny does his best to comfort and reassure Brenda as Suzanne listens from the doorway.
Abby, Michael, Jason and Dante return to Abby's apartment. We learn that Jason posted bail for Abby and has hired Diane to be her lawyer. Dante reminds them that there still may be a trial since there is an eyewitness by the name of Lance Hendrickson. Abby recognizes that name; he is a regular at the strip club! Jason plans to find out more about this guy and leaves. Dante turns to go, but thinks Michael should come home with him. Michael protests, but Abby promises Michael that she will be okay.
Sonny stops by Abby's place to ask the girl to stay away from Michael until this whole Brandon mess is over. Naturally Abby disagrees and decides to tell Michael about this. If Michael wants her to stay away, then so be it, but it has to be his decision, not anyone else's. Upset Sonny calls Dante, who agrees with him. It would be best for Michael to stay from Abby right now. Later Michael arrives to have both his big brother and dad gang up on him. Unfortunately Michael is as stubborn as his dad and refuses to break up with Abby. Sonny shakes his head. Michael says that like he has a choice!
Lisa arrives at Johnny's penthouse to surprise him with herself in her underwear. Unfortunately Johnny is not home, but Anthony is! Anthony leers at Lisa and informs her that he knows all about her. He admires how far she is willing to go to get what she wants (i.e., the cheating, lying, etc.). She reminds him of his daughter Claudia! Johnny returns, giving Lisa the chance to escape. Naturally Johnny is upset to find Anthony gushing about Lisa's beauty. Johnny interrupts Anthony; he knows his dad is up to something!
Robin and Patrick give Kristina some last minute instructions before they head out for the night. After they leave, Kristina gets a call from her friend Chelsea, who excitedly announces she got into Yale. Kristina congratulates her friend, but it's clear she is upset. She grabs one of Lisa's pills and downs it with a huge glass of water. Later Kristina calls Lisa, who arrives with more pills. Soon Kristina becomes sleepy and passes out, much to Lisa's delight.
Maxie visits Sam and asks her to come for drinks with her and Matt. Sam declines, explaining she is having a fertility reconstruction procedure tomorrow. Maxie eyes Sam; is it wise to have a baby so soon after Jake's death? Do Sam and Jason really want to give up the life they currently lead for a baby? Later Jason returns home and Maxie advises him to reconsider having a baby right now. Sam, who was listening from upstairs, approaches Jason and he asks her if she is sure about having a baby. He wants to make sure this is what she wants and that she is not doing this to help him heal from Jake's death.
At Jake's Matt sympathizes with Coleman about their high maintenance ladies (Maxie and Kate). Maxie arrives to plant a huge kiss on Matt. Soon they are joined by Robin and Patrick for a lively game of darts. Unfortunately their game is interrupted when Patrick gets paged by the hospital. So Robin heads to Kelly's to have ice cream with Brenda and Lucian. (Hmm, so it's okay for Robin to meet Lucian, but not Kristina, Michael or Morgan, who are Lucian's step-siblings?) As Brenda and Robin chat, Lucian goes to look at the jukebox. Brenda turns and panics when she sees that Lucian is no longer there. Uh-oh!
Jason returns to Abby's place where they talk about Sonny's request that she stays away from Michael. When Abby mentions how helpful Johnny has been to her and Michael and that Johnny had mentioned it is nice when a Corinthos owes you a favor, Jason flips out. He storms over to Johnny's where he accuses Johnny of orchestrating Brandon's murder and then helping Michael and Abby to make Michael feel indebted to him. Jason reminds Johnny that Claudia put Michael in a coma for a year; Johnny owes Michael more than this! Anthony listens from the stairwell holding an orchid. Hm, we wonder what he is thinking now. -
