On Cassadine Island Lulu continues to listen via cell phone as Helena orders Dante to remove his shirt. Dante hesitates and tells Helena that he does have a gun on him—if that is what she is looking for. Helena flirts with Dante as she assures him that she has plenty of weapons. She is surprised that Luke didn't tell Dante about her particular "needs." Lulu realizes something is wrong when Helena asks Dante again why he is dying to work for her. Lulu races to the house as Helena reveals that she knows who Dante is—and that he is Lulu's boyfriend. Lulu bursts into the room and orders Helena to stay away from Dante. She demands to know where Luke is, but Helena reminds Lulu that Luke doesn't want to be found. Finally Helena admits she is supposed to meet Luke at the docks for a shipment of diamonds and will allow Lulu to go in her place. She thinks Lulu will be rejected, but hey, it's her choice. Dante leaves but promises to return for Lulu. Helena returns and tells Lulu that she is either very brave or stupid to stay here alone. Either way, Lulu will be sorry she came to the island.

Back in Port Charles Steve continues to ask Elizabeth to leave the hospital. He doesn't believe she is ready to return to work; if she makes another mistake, this could be the end of her career. Elizabeth insists she can't do any harm at the front desk and admits she returned to help Lucky's investigation into stolen meds from the hospital. Steve reiterates that he thinks this is a bad idea as Elizabeth and Lucky never had the healthiest of relationships. Later he vents to Olivia about his sister and all her various problems.

Siobhan is upset that Lucky knows Elizabeth is back at the hospital. She tries to get Lucky to see that Elizabeth is manipulating him again and wants to re-file the malpractice suit against the hospital to save others from Elizabeth's mistakes. Lucky assures Siobhan that Elizabeth can't hurt anyone by working the front desk, but Siobhan finally admits that she worries that she will lose Lucky to drugs—and Elizabeth. When Lucky refuses to listen to Siobhan, she seeks Ethan's help. Ethan becomes concerned, but questions Siobhan's motives. Is she merely jealous of Elizabeth? When Siobhan admits she fears Lucky will become addicted again, Ethan tracks Lucky down.

Meanwhile Elizabeth finds Lucky at the police station and tells him that she is back at work. She wants him to call her if he needs anything. Lucky is surprised she isn't there to lecture him, but Elizabeth is confident he can stay sober during the investigation. Later Ethan surprises Lucky while he waits for his drug connection. Ethan confesses he, too, is worried Lucky will have a relapse and no one would blame him given how tough the last year was. Lucky frowns; how did Ethan even hear about this case? It is supposed to be top secret!

Back at the hospital Patrick tries to persuade Robin to take a picnic with him, but Robin declines. She has too much to work to do. Robin seems on the verge of caving in when she sees Matt. She busts Patrick on distracting her because he thinks she is being too hard on the staff. As punishment she removes him from the OR rotation for today. Sour Patrick thanks Matt for his not-so-subtle lurking skills. Later Steve returns to convince Robin to let Elizabeth go. He really thinks having Elizabeth work the front desk is a bad idea. However Robin maintains the upmost faith in her friend. Later Patrick manages to get Robin to take a break and pulls her into am exam room under the pretense of consulting on a patient. Robin finds a picnic basket as Patrick explains that although he wants to get back on the OR rotation, he does want some wife time.

Siobhan heads to the hospital to rip into Elizabeth. She accuses her once again of manipulating Lucky to get close to him. Elizabeth tries to explain her relationship with Lucky, even trying to tell Siobhan about the night in the park when she was raped and Lucky found her afterward, but Siobhan refuses to listen. Siobhan calls Elizabeth self-absorbed and says that is why she lost Jake. Shaken Elizabeth is hit by the memory of reading Aidan's paternity test as she hears a car hit Jake outside.

Maxie arrives at the P.I. offices of McCall and Jackal where Spinelli kisses her and says he has a big break in his case. He saw Johnny leave the bakery on First Street with a suspicious package! Worried Maxie races to Johnny's place to warn him. Johnny assures Maxie that he was picking up cupcakes for his dad. And sure enough Anthony enters eating a cupcake. Maxie hides as Spinelli arrives. Amused Anthony decides to have some fun with Spinelli and says Spinelli is onto them! Johnny interrupts to assure Spinelli nothing illegal is happening at the bakery. Spinelli remains suspicious as Anthony eyes the cupcakes, an idea forming in his mind.
