Sam remains adamant in her desire to infiltrate Anthony's inner circle in order to help Jason and Spinelli. Jason doesn't want Sam to get involved but she sticks to her guns and later approaches Ric. Ric cautions Jason that Jason's safety isn't guaranteed just because Sonny is overseeing the Zacchara's operations.

Jason worries that Carly is throwing the charity benefit because she's looking for a miracle for Michael.

Nikolas tries to stall Jax's efforts to open the new spa but Olivia comes through for her boss. Nikolas explains to Olivia that he wants to keep Spoon Island intact because it holds so many happy memories of Emily.

Robin's on the verge of admitting she might have a problem when Matt pays her and Patrick a surprise visit. Patrick and Robin sit back and watch the fireworks between Matt and Maxie. Robin playfully admits to Patrick that Matt reminds her of him when they first met.

Johnny continues to lie to Lulu about having a job at the hospital. Spinelli and Maxie find Johnny sweeping up at Jake's and agree to keep his secret. Lulu asks Carly to come up with a reason to hire Johnny at the Metro Court.

arns Sonny that he's close to losing everything he's worked for unless he placates Anthony by making a move against Jason. Claudia sets out to seduce Ric in an effort to find out what he and Anthony are really up to. Sonny's just a step away from catching Claudia and Ric in bed together.

Sam impresses Anthony Zacchara despite Ric's protestations. Later, she challenges Jason to deny that she could get more damaging information to use against Anthony than he could. It doesn't look like Jason can.

Lucky offers to take Elizabeth and the boys to Disney on Ice, but she decides to keep her shift at the hospital.

Maxie wonders if Lulu is with Johnny because she's trying to emulate Luke and Laura's epic romance. She later tells Johnny of these same suspicions.

Worried that Carly is setting herself up for heartbreak where Michael is concerned, Jason makes an appointment to meet with Patrick. Carly wishes Sonny and Jason would mend the rift between them.

Johnny continues to defy Anthony, who warns him that people are going to get hurt.

At the hospital, Matt flirts with Rebecca, who's a dead ringer for Emily, but she's only there to apply for a job.

y avoid being caught in bed together by Sonny. Ric reveals Anthony's true agenda to Claudia, and Claudia's immediate concern is for the ultimate well-being of Sonny. Sonny questions why Claudia is so jumpy all of a sudden, and Claudia gets emotional and looks like she wants to tell Sonny what she knows.

Nikolas admits to a sympathetic Robin that he's still not completely over Emily. Patrick asks Jason, and later Nikolas, if they think Robin is acting like her normal self. Carly drops in on Robin to invite her to the benefit and is taken aback when Robin snaps at her after Emma starts to cry.

Jason admits that Sam could be helpful in his mission to gather evidence against Anthony but warns her to be careful. Spinelli's self esteem takes a beating when he realizes Sam is also working to protect him. Jason is not pleased when he finds Spinelli trying to hack into the FBI database in order to find out the deal Jason made with them. Later, Spinelli approaches Agent Rayner and asks to know what Jason had to promise to secure his release.

Carly witnesses Robin's reluctance to touch or even pay attention to Emma, and later she admits to Patrick she thinks Robin is suffering from past partum depression. Robin, meanwhile, continues to struggle with motherhood.

Meanwhile, Matt prepares to operate on Earl with Elizabeth, Monica, and Leyla as part of the team. After taking a look at Earl's X-rays, Patrick makes a frantic dash to the operating room to try and stop Matt but he's too late to ward off a catastrophe in the making.

Nikolas pours out his heart when he visits Emily's grave on her birthday, admitting he still loves her too much to move on with Nadine. Nikolas gets a glimpse of Emily's look-a-like at the hospital.

perating room. Matt insists that Patrick, now wearing a hazmat suit, rescue the others first. Patrick isn't aware that anesthesia is also being released into the room.

Jason sees Elizabeth and Monica being taken out of the room, both unconscious. Rayner gives Patrick dire news about what they're dealing with -- if they can't contain the toxin, there's no telling how many people will die. Spinelli makes the horrific discovery that the air ducts in the O.R. connect to the board room, where the Michael Corinthos benefit is being held.

Ric sweats bullets when Anthony accuses him of spilling his secrets to Claudia. Claudia's poised to rat out Anthony to Sonny. Kate collapses in the board room just as she's about to tell Sonny the truth about Claudia.

Robin's anxiety over Emma grows increasingly worse, and she throws her baby monitor across the room.

Nikolas sees Rebecca across the nurse's station at GH, and after she takes off, he can't take his mind off her. He later confides in Lulu that he thinks he saw Emily.

Johnny and Maxie take shelter in an abandoned garage after he rescues her from the car crash. Maxie and Johnny open up to each other about their respective situations with Spinelli and Lulu.

he people inside the boardroom they can't leave. After a temporary airlock is in place, Kate is taken out of the room. Claudia jumps into action to hopefully seal the air duct. But before long, Trevor collapses after going off on a rant.

Patrick is able to remove the remaining toxic spheres from Bragg's body, though the shells are weakened. Rayner orders him to place the entire hospital under quarantine.

Claudia is about to announce that Anthony shot Kate, but she passes out before she gets the chance.

Robin, on the brink of completely losing it, is privately relieved when Mac stops by and looks after Emma. Robin's hopes to leave Emma with Mac are dashed when he's called away on police business.
Later, someone is sneaks into the contaminated operating room.

Luke catches a young Australian guy named Ethan breaking into the Haunted Star. After it appears that Ethan drugs Luke's drinks and is ready to take off with a pile of cash, Luke gets the jump on him.
