In Hawaii Carly apologizes for getting too close to Shawn, who diffuses the tension by joking that Rufus the stuffed dog will protect him. Carly admits Franco scares her and Shawn assures her that he will make sure everyone stays safe. Carly can lean on him as much as she wants. Carly apologizes for almost crossing a line, but Shawn says she didn't. They continue to watch the rest of the firework show. Later Shawn tells Carly about the Hawaiian legend of Pele, who sounds a lot like Carly—the ultimate handful, always stirring up trouble, yet nurturing and protective. Carly grins; she likes Pele. (Of course she would!)
Inside the cottage Sam thinks now is a bad time to decide if they should have a child or not in light of Franco's threat. When Jason says that Franco will always be a threat, Sam refuses to give Franco the power to dictate their lives. Because then, that isn't a life at all. Jason argues that he is close to locating Franco, which makes Sam realize that they may not make it if Jason is always running to someone's rescue. Sam says all they have is this moment; this is their honeymoon! She knows Jason has to find Franco, but not now. Please! Of course Jason gets a phone call from Bernie, who tells him that Franco has been spotted in Toronto, opening a new art show. He and Sam join Carly and Shawn outside to tell them about Franco. Shawn says he, Carly and Josslyn will leave in the morning, but Carly remains unconvinced that Franco is not a threat. Alone she urges Jason not to let this go, and to prove that she doesn't want to ruin his honeymoon and that he is her best friend, she is going to tell him a secret: Jax is alive!
Back in Port Charles Alexis arrives at the Haunted Star looking for Ethan, but finds Luke instead. They make awkward small talk about Jake's death and Luke's intervention. Why wasn't Alexis there? Alexis says she wasn't asked and lightens the moment by reminding Luke that he has seen her at her worst, so who is she to judge him? Luke reveals he is sober as Alexis reveals that she tricked Kristina. She had asked Sonny to get Kristina into Yale in order to get her away from Ethan. Now she is wracked with guilt, wondering if Sonny had his goons break the dean's kneecaps or bribed another student to leave school in order to get Kristina off the wait-list. Yet, Alexis refuses to tell Kristina to the truth because she firmly believes Yale is the best thing for her daughter. Now she needs to talk to Ethan because Kristina may figure out what Alexis did and confide in him! Luke advises Alexis to learn to live with her guilt and move on. Unfortunately that advice doesn't really work for him either.
Anthony—holding the two by four with a nail in it that Lisa used to hurt him--has made his way back to dry land where he orders a boat to pick him up and some cargo and then take him to dump the cargo somewhere. (Hm, is he talking about a dead body, perhaps Lisa's?) As Anthony prepares to leave, Johnny arrives. What the hell was Anthony thinking by reviving Lisa and setting her loose? Anthony admits his "experiment" wasn't a success and reveals that Lisa nailed him, literally. Now Lisa is on the Drake party boat, wreaking havoc. He promised her a clean departure, so Johnny jumps into Anthony's boat instead. Alone Anthony orders another boat while gripping the two by four.
On the party boat Robin wrestles with Lisa, but Lisa throws her against the wall. Lisa holds up the syringe filled with Robin's blood and approaches Patrick, intending to inject him. Luckily Robin tackles Lisa again and they continue to struggle. Lisa pushes Robin away and runs out. Robin screams how much she hates Lisa as Patrick urges her to look at him. She's okay! Now untie him! Robin complies and grabs the syringe, determined to find Lisa. Meanwhile Patrick calls Mac and runs off in search of Robin.
In the boat main room Matt continues his drunken pity party with Elizabeth's scarf as company. He is still crushing on Elizabeth as his phone rings. It's Maxie, who has found her way to the boat. She wants Matt to help her onboard. Matt tells Maxie the party is over and hangs up.
Outside Maxie turns to Spinelli, who tells her that it seems Matt doesn't want her company. Maxie refuses to believe that and orders Spinelli to bring their motorboat closer so that she can climb aboard. Spinelli tries to get Maxie to see that Matt is not right for her (he is), but Maxie claims Matt is everything she should want. Spinelli reluctantly returns to shore where he finds Elizabeth unconscious—but alive—on the beach. Unfortunately he does not see the stranger that seems to be checking in on Elizabeth, via a light.
Back on the boat Robin has an ice cracker and searches for Lisa. She sees Steve instead and warns him that Lisa is here. And she is crazier than she has ever been! Worried Steve runs to find Olivia. Robin later bumps into Patrick, who asks Robin to let him handle Lisa. He brought her into their lives—and he will get her out! Patrick takes the ice cracker, kisses Robin and orders her to wait for Mac in the boat salon. He finds the first mate Briggs (who is unconscious but alive) as Robin has a series of flashbacks to all the times Lisa tried to kill her. Robin pulls out the syringe with her blood, vowing to never again let Lisa terrorize her or her family.
On the other side of the boat, Maxie climbs aboard, snapping her heel in the process. Lisa sees her, but decides—for some reason—to leave Maxie alone. Maxie finds Steve and Olivia's room and mistakes it for Matt's. She opens the closet and a body falls out!
Steve continues to search for Olivia as Matt stumbles around the boat, returning to the main room. We see the wrench Olivia dropped and a shadow over it.
A boat arrives (presumably Johnny's) and Lisa flags it down. Robin attacks her again from behind, but Lisa throws her against a ladder. Robin hits her head, but opens her eyes to see Lisa looming over her.
