Shawn catches Carly trying to get inside a locked Kelly's. She confesses she had a late night craving, but doesn't have a key. Shawn opens the doors and cooks up some chili and cornbread for Carly. As she eats, Carly confesses that her house feels empty now that Jax is gone and Morgan is at school. She is happy that Morgan loves his new school, but she wonders when Josslyn will see her daddy again. Shawn suggests they dance. He turns on the jukebox and offers his hand to Carly.

On the catwalk above the drug warehouse Maxie and Spinelli kiss, but she ends up dropping Sam's engagement ring, losing it again. Lucky runs in and sees that Joey is dead. They have no idea that Johnny is their mystery savior. As Spinelli carries Maxie off, Lucky finds a bottle of pills in Joey's pocket.

At the warehouse Mac approaches Elizabeth and Dante to get an update. Elizabeth makes it very clear that Lucky saved her life. Dante tells Mac all about the drugs being moved through Luzetta's and that they know now who killed Siobhan. As Mac moves off to talk to another cop, Dante warns Elizabeth not to tell Mac about Lucky's accidental drug intake. Later Lucky updates Mac, who is proud of him. He is about to tell Mac about his brush with drugs, but Dante stops him.

Johnny meets with JT, Lucky's old drug dealer, and tells him that Joey is going to be late. He holds a gun to JT's neck and says he will do as he says. Johnny gets JT to confess that Anthony is behind the drug ring, moving the drugs through Luzetta's and hiding the drugs in the flour bags marked with stars. JT also reveals that Rudy Trujillo is allowing Anthony's shipments to land at his pier. Later Johnny brings JT the pier where he catches Rudy off-guard. He shoots Rudy, who shoots JT, killing them both. Then Johnny heads to the Metro Court where he tells his dad that he just cleaned up his mess.

At the hospital Sam finds Jason trying to walk the halls to regain his balance. He explains he wants to be able to walk down the aisle with her. Later Jason tells Max that Shawn will remain in charge during his wedding. After Max leaves, Sam questions Jason. Their wedding would the perfect time for an enemy to make a move, wouldn't it? Jason assures Sam he is merely being cautious after what happened at Sonny and Brenda's wedding.

Meanwhile Sonny grabs Matt and throws him against the wall. What did Matt do to Kristina? Why can't she feel anything in her leg? Patrick pulls Sonny off of his brother. How dare he attack his brother! Sonny blames Matt for Kristina's predicament, saying he is too inexperienced.

Kate brings Kristina a gift bag. Matt enters to check on Kristina and tells her that she could feel something once her swelling goes down. After he leaves, Kristina assumes that Kate is going to try to convince her that Sonny is a great guy, etc. Kate sees Sonny arrive and says that she wanted to talk to Kristina about the great trip Sonny has planned for her once she gets out of the hospital. Sonny turns on the charm talking about this perfect strip of land that rests between two bodies of water. Being there makes Sonny feel there is more to life and that life is great, blah, blah. Kate seems enchanted as Kristina frowns. Talking about that magical place apparently gives Sonny a change of heart because later he apologizes to Matt as Kate watches.

Matt is concerned when Dante brings Elizabeth to the hospital. Concerned Matt checks her head, touching her tenderly which doesn't sit well with Maxie. Maxie brings Spinelli over, hoping to interrupt. Matt is relieved to see Maxie, but he wants to tend to Elizabeth first. Maxie and Spinelli then head to Jason's room where Maxie has some great news: Spinelli saved her life. Bad news: She lost Sam's ring again! But she vows to make their wedding an event to remember, even if it kills her!

Speaking of killing, we see a man take photos of a lifeless man lying beside his breakfast. It's Franco who tells his toy monkey that he intends to return home to Port Charles to attend Sam and Jason's wedding.
