Year 3 for me I am looking forward to the challange. I've learned to let my hair do what it want, when it want. I will enclose pics for the year in this album, as well. I have colored my hair natural black, moved away from henna, just wasn't doing it for me. Still using my hair care products by black earth products. Getting prepared to go to the hair show in Atlanta April 30, 2011. OKKAAAAYYYY I did it even though I said I wasn't (4/14/2011) I* colored my hair again, just couldn't do the black so I will sneak a peek.... can't wait til the color grows out a bit ( medium gold copper brown)

I will combine several months in this folder. I feel like I am at a stand still kinda getting bored with the same old style. I was thin king about going back to the "creamy crack" , but I know I will regret it! I am gonna challenge myself with a new hair styles and focus on protecting my hair as well. I am in need of some hair inspiration. My job set out a new policy of no dreads so I cannot lock my hair, I was dissappointed, but greatful to have a job. I now have 8 inces of hair!! growing alittlebit at a time.

Theme "Embracing My Napps"...
Nappy gathering was held at Red Lobster in Orange Park Fl. Evening was filled with lots of information. Everyone had something to say.. from their decision to go natural, the pros and cons of going natural, How long they had been natural....sample products, hair tutorials ect... this event was such a sucess. Guest receive products to take home as well. I look forward to us getting bigger and better.

Attending this year and it was nothing like thelast year. I had a blast and it was good seeing some Fotki friends and such positive happy nappies.

Almost 2 years to being natural and my hair is black now so I really can't tell how much growth I have. Here I's a list of things that I have learned since I have been natural:
1. Never manipulate hair without
water or some moisture
2. Always sleep with a satin bonnet or wrap
3. When I feel like my hair dry I go soak in a tub of water and let my hair get hydrated

4. No color if it take chemicals, only natural
products
5. I am currentely trying a hair routine to track hair growth my hair is 5 1/2 inches so I will be tracking my growth for the next three months
