I just wish that black women relax their hair as a choice and not as a cure! natural hair is not a disease or something to be ashamed of. What we do with our hair and our body is all about self expressions. So ladies make sure that you express yourself and not someone elses opinion!

I wore braids for most of my life.

Shortly before I removed my micro braids I desided to go natural. I never liked spending all day in salons and I never liked relaxing my hair even as a child. My stylist would always have to bob my hair because I waited too long in between my relaxers. I always admired Cree Summer's hair when I was younger.

I love my hair. It is now two years later and I have no regrets. My hair reaches my shoulders when pulled. I am still debating on locking my hair. I say no, then I see some one with incredible locks and I go through the process of debate all over again.

Remember when I said I will cry later. Here goes. I lost all will with my hair. I went to a hair dresser that ripped so much hair out of my head it looked like there was a poodle on the floor. I then had to go over and cut all of the damage. My boyfriend held me while I cried. It was that BAD.

Trying to grow it back now that I have inspiration from others am going to try not to be so lazy and style my hair. Heaven help me!
